Who: Alice, Ken, Youji, Omi, open to Ran (Aya), and whomever else works at Nectar if they'd like Where: Second district of Somni, Nectar Flower Shop Style: Whatever they prefer Status: Semi-Open
Youji looked up from the shadowed corner where he was very deliberately not sweeping when he heard the door open. A quick scan for any coworkers who might take the customer while he ran off for smoking break--but the sight of Alice, in her starched pinafore and carrying both a basket and the ever-faithful Basil, changed that plan.
"Welcome to Nectar," he called, as he made his way over, and bowed. He'd decided not to wear a hat inside; it wasn't polite. "As a gesture of our appreciation for your business," he continued, kneeling, "permit me to present my lady with a complimentary gift."
He held his hand out to Alice, as if to ask for her own, but drew it back quickly, snapped his fingers, and, with practiced ease and sleight of hand, produced a pink lily from his sleeve. Done right, it would look like magic; done wrong, and she'd probably laugh at him. But he offered her the lily, either way.
He had, he admitted, never been very much of a host, but he knew quite enough about receiving guests to know that when expecting a visitor, it's good form to, you know, generally be there when they show up. To that end he had been busying himself in the body of the shop for most of the morning, carefully watching the door for anything that looked like it might be a seven-year-old girl and a rabbit. He knew she'd be there, of course: a girl as polite as Alice was would be sure to phone up and cancel if anything had stopped her from showing at all. Which meant it was all just a matter of whenWhich turned out, as it happened, to be now

At the greeting she smiled brightly and whatever worry she had concerning the flower shop disappeared. And when Youji did a magic trick her eyes widen. She couldn't believe he did magic! She took the lily quite happily

Omi had been in the greenhouse, watering the plants, when he heard the bell ring, and he came out front. He grabbed the towel next to the door to wipe his face off, then smiled when he saw the girl.
Aerith was cheerfully in the back of the store, her viridian eyes alight and not seeming to pay any attention to the newcomers. She was so caught up in her newest blooms, her clear mastery of flowers obvious as she tended to each like a loving mother. Each petal seemed to leap into her touch, the gentle flowergirl smiling some.
Flowers like this never grew in Midgar, as she fingered the tulips stems, she found herself shaking her head. It was nice just to have variety. "Hm hm hmmm, hmm hmm hmm..." She continued to hum, in her own little world.
"H-Hello?" Alice called out as she looked around for someone. "Is anyone here?" Alice didn't see Youji or Ken and she didn't just want to take the flowers. Someone had to be here she supposed. You didn't leave a shoppe open if no one was there to mind it. Unless it was one of the phantoms roaming the street?
Aerith blinked suddenly being pulled back to reality. Who was calling? Stepping out of her little corner in the back of the shop, Aerith set her vase of beautifully tended flowers down and offered a small smile.
"Hellooo? Hellooooo? " She mimicked, head tilted, rosy lips in a friendly smile.
