['Sup, fellow resident. This would be Kohane, who was passing by.]

Did you grow these yourself, Labrador-san?

Some of them were growing wild, I just helped them a little.

[He smiles, and hands her pot with a just-blooming gladiolus.]

I saved this one for you, Kohane.

[She takes it, smiling softly.]

Thank you. What's it called?

Gladiolus. It can be used to represent strength of character...a very fitting flower for Kohane, I think.

[He's walking along doing some experiment or other when he's sidetracked by these plants and wanders nearer to inspect them.]

Such a diversity of species here!

[Labrador smiles, and after a moment of kind of. Staring. At Canas. He hands him a plucked monkshood.]

I'm glad you like them. Here.

Oh? An aconitum? I do wonder which species of aconitum it is.

[He beams and takes it.]

Why thank you! You have quite the affinity for plants, don't you?

One could say that.

[Aconitum? Wut? HE UNDERSTANDS NOT, CANAS. ;A;]

*After Shiba left Xion was feeling rather down. She thought maybe talking a walk will help her out a bit.

And it did. Those flowers were sure pretty. Staring at them from some distance.*

*Uh-oh, she didn't realize she was spacing out. We're too used to sneaking around*

*shuffles closer* It was nothing. I just thought that those flowers ... were pretty.

My, so many different kinds of flowers. It really is just about spring, hm?

Something like that.

[He stares at Fai for a while, before handing him a silver rose.]

Here, a good luck charm.

Oh, why thank you! [Takes it delicately.] It's absolutely beautiful. You must have raised it with much care. [Smiles.]

It's something of a specialty of mine.

[Labrador just keeps on smilin'.]

[Have your sleepy bff stroll by, Lab! o/ Minato's out for a walk, and the flowers' colors definitely catch his attention, even at a distance. He'll be coming this way, and unclipping his earphones once he's close enough.]

Good afternoon, Labrador-san. Are you giving these away?

ghost_profe March 16 2010, 21:50:40 UTC
Yes. Would you like one, Minato?

[He is in bliss.]

carpo_vita March 16 2010, 23:46:52 UTC
That would be nice, actually. I never had the chance to take care of something even like a plant back home; it'll be good to try to do that here. I'm quite new at this, though. What would you recommend, Labrador-san?

I believe...[He stares at Minato for a while.]

Here. [And he hands him a pot full of zinnias.]
