Winter made Peter nervous. It had nothing to do with the cold--although he wasn't terribly a fan of it--and everything to do with that person. This place wasn't Wonderland, so it wasn't the world being unstable...probably...but he still didn't like it.

Of course, this train of thought was interrupted when he heard a girl call out. Near the fountain...Ugh.

"Don't call out so carelessly..." Outsider or not, it was annoying.

Maria + Bunny ears = GLOMP?

"Uu! I can call out for Beato! Maria wants to see Beato! Uu! Uu!", the little girl responded, before turning around to see whom has spoken to her.

"BUNNY! Maria likes Bunnies!", she cried, noticing the ears and running over to him, "Are you one of my bunny band come to life?"

[ooc: I don't think Maria knows that her bunnies = the Siestas in the anime. I also assume she likes bunnies due to the fact she owned a ceramic bunny band... and she is 9... and a girl.. yeah]

Peter stepped back immediately. Outsider or not...this girl wasn't Alice.

She was covered in germs, he knew it.

"Bunny band? Don't be silly...I'm the White Rabbit."

Noticing the boy step away from her, she knew not to attempt that again.

No matter how cute the bunny ears looked, she didn't want him to run off.

"White rabbit?" Maria spoke questionably.

She had never heard of anyone by that name before, not in her world anyway.

Which meant that this possibly might not be the golden land.

She thought for a bit and then asked, "Do you know where I am?"

Ange had been walking around Espoir, lost in her own thoughts, when a particular voice caught her ears. The crimson-haired girl felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand on end, and for a moment, she told herself she was dreaming.

But, how would that be different from the norm?

"M-...Maria Onee-chan!" she exclaimed. This...had to be the real Maria, the one she hadn't seen since she was about six years old. The one she spoke to so often was the Witch of Origins, and as some would say, a figment of her imagination.

This one...wasn't, maybe.

Maria turned towards the voice, recognising it almost immediately.

"Ange!", she cried out happily, as she started to run towards the girl that she had been once teaching about the values of how to control her magic and become a witch.

"Maria finally got to her golden land! Uu!"

Ange smiled despite herself at the sight of her older cousin...even though they were both in this dream world, and it very well could be an illusion, she was happy to see Maria again.

"Is that...where they brought you from?" she asked tentatively, frowning slightly at this point. If this Overlord person had taken Maria from her golden land...after everything she had been through...

Maria looked a little confused.

"This isn't Maria's golden land? Uu", she asked curiously, "But Maria was with Beato..."

She did wonder why this land wasn't golden, but she had believed that Beatrice had made it for her.

Beatrice was certainly surprised to see Maria, but didn't consider it to be an unwanted surprise. Appearing before her in her golden-butterfly splendor, the Golden Witch smiled slightly.

"Maria here as well? Truly a surprise!" Her eyes sharply took in her clothing...that staff.

As soon as she heard Beatrice's voice, Maria smiled happily.

"Beato!", she cried happily, almost tackling Beatrice with a big hug.

"I wondered where you disappeared too."

Beatrice blinked at the sudden embrace, but wasn't so proud or arrogant to deny the girl comfort, her arms gently set around the girls. "Yes, well, I'm curious as to where I was as well, you see?" She chuckled, a bit unnerved.

"After all I was in a very fun part of the game.."

Maria's face was filled with happiness as she felt Beatrice hug her back. Though she thought Beatrice was a little uncomfortable.

Maybe just because she was in a new world? She wasn't sure. But she noted that Beatrice wasn't sure where she was either.

"Beato doesn't know of this place? Uu?" she asked, honestly wondering.

She then noticed that Beatrice had said somethnig about a game. She wasn't in a game in her world, the game was over.. was this a different Beatrice or just a confused Beatrice?

"Beato was in a game? But.. Maria was with Beato in the golden land.."
