Hihara was getting tired of running into all of these people acting weird, when he spotted Austria. Surely Austria would be level headed in all this? Maybe even scolding Hihara again for his overenthusiasm?

"Austria-san!"

Austria turned at the voice and saw an unfamiliar face, which made him pause for a moment while he tried to guess who this person might be. The person before him certainly did not look European and, if he had to guess, he would say the person was China, or perhaps Japan. He was never too good with telling the Asian nations apart, which he attributed to his lack of experience with dealing with that part of the world. As he took in this stranger's unusual appearance (as far as Austria was concerned; long, straight black hair and deep brown eyes were certainly not the norm in his home), he wondered how this person had arrived here, what business he had here, and how he know his name. After all, Austria had only heard of many of the Asian nations and, while it made sense that they knew of a European nation as important and influential as he, it put Austria in an odd position. After all, he should at least know how to greet this other person properly ( ... )

Blink blink. Austria didn't know him? And... where was Vienna? Was Austria one of the people acting funny, too?

"Ummm... Austria-san... Don't you know me?"

This other person's attitude was beginning to irritate Austria already. He had asked questions of this person, and when he asks a question, he expects the other person to have the decency to answer. Not to mention they were standing in the rubble of his most important city and this idiot standing before him was concerned with whether or not Austria knew him. This only, in Austria's opinion, reinforced the fact that European nations were clearly superior to others. Besides, Austria was certain he had already answered this person's question; he had stated that he was not familiar with Asia's part of the world, and any idiot should be able to interpret that as a resounding 'no I do not know you ( ... )

Roderich? [Hungary lost track of Spain somewhere but the other nation is pushed to the back of her mind for the time being when she sees Austria. She's almost in tears by the time she reaches him]

Oh thank goodness I found you!

[He's so relieved to see Hungary, you have no idea. He was worried about her safety, too, after all. As she draws near to him, Austria reaches out and gently places a hand on her shoulder. He still looks quite distressed (which is natural since his capital city is destroyed), but at least with Hungary here he has someone to help him.]

Elizaveta, I am so glad you are all right. What on earth happened here?

[Hungary is too overwhelmed with relief that she doesn't notice that Austria has called her by her human name and pulls closer to him]

I'm not sure. I woke up in our home and everything was in shambles. Spain was here for some reason and he claimed that we were in Madrid!

[Well, okay, have a hug, Hungary. He wraps his arms around her and holds her tightly, for once not even concerned if other people were around. He knew public displays of affection were not the most proper thing to do, but it was rather comforting (even to him), and he did feel obligated to make sure Hungary was happy.]

Madrid? Perhaps Spain has been spending too much time around America. This clearly... is Vienna. [He wanted to say 'was,' but even in ruin, it's still his city.]
