Watching the woman attack the scarecrows was very peculiar, however. He hesitated, wondering if she quite honestly believed that her family had beenn killed or taken by...scarecrows.
Perhaps she was mad? Either way, Maglor thought as he watched her in silence, perhaps it was best to simply...continue on his way?

"I know not why your senses are playing such tricks on you, nor do I know how to stop them from doing so," Maglor admitted, again tucking his harp under his arm snugly.

He sighed, quietly. "I do not know how it is possible either, but it would appear that your senses are deceiving you. Who would have the power to do such a thing, I do not know."

"It would appear you have already fallen prey to such a thing, though knowing that you have is certainly better than remaining in such a state in ignorance," Maglor said, tone still quiet.

While Maglor cared little for what happened to her or any of the innocent bystanders, he did still have a conscience, and the fact that she could harm someone innocent did give him pause. It could even be a child passing by, someone who wouldn't be able to defend himself...

He narrowed his eyes, looking around. It seemed deserted for now, but that meant little. It could change at any time. And so, Maglor tilted his head, for...he had little choice in this, it seemed.
"I presume you know of no cure to this affliction." It was a statement, not a question; if she had known of one, she would have used it, he was certain. "We shall have to find one."

"You shall take the consequences of this affliction, for such a thing cannot be shirked. You are a danger to yourself and innocent people, and cannot remain as such."
And Maglor sighed again, shaking his head. It had been a long time since he had made use of his voice in the attempt to sway belief. But it was necessary in this case. It was for the woman's own good.
"There must be a cure, and you must find it." He paused. If she could not tell who was or was not real...What a burden. "And I shall assist you."

Too many innocents had been harmed for pointless reasons. The blood of such innocents still stained his hands. Maglor inclined his head slightly.
"Let us begin our search."
