[Alice entered the cafe. She had been there only a day or so earlier but she was still exploring the city and needed a place to rest. She was without Mr. Dormouse but she hadn't actually encountered anyone dangerous or even mad. Which was actually more of a curious circumstance than just being allowed to go about her day. She opened the door to the Cafe and removed her scarf and mittens. She folded them up and placed them in the pockets of her coat. She didn't see anyone yet. But Mr. Tamaki said he owned the tea shop (though she hadn't seen him last time either. But she supposed she couldn't expect him to always be there. Every minute of every day.

She looks all around and is amazed at how much progress has been made with the decor! She did hope that Hean would come with her to the Christmas party. But as nice as that all was.... where was a waiter or waitress?]
