[The moment she cuts the transmission, Argilla wastes no time letting go of the Atma.

Prithivi is hungry, which is both a good and a bad thing. Bad, because she has to keep a tighter hold on the demon. Good, because it's the easiest thing to reach out and detect that trace of blood, and then follow it to the source.

Before she rounds the last corner, Argilla forces herself to stop, and shoves her demon half back into the corner of her mind. It's hard, with Prithivi clamoring for food, and resisting every step of the way, but with a low growl, Argilla can feel her body shift back. When she steps into sight, it's as a human.

...A very worried looking human, but still.]

[By the time Argilla shows up, Riza's vision has already begun to blur. The woman's usually sharp eyes can't even make out the outrageously bright color of the demon's hair.

She offers a small, painful smile. It's about all she can do right now.]

[The blond pot calls the kettle pink black. Staring at hair color can get saved for when there isn't bleeding going on.

Argilla runs the rest of the distance, kneeling down next to Riza.]

"I'm sorry for the delay. I'll do what I can for you, though."

[Her hands go to her skirt pocket as she says that. She hopes she has something in there that might help. Bandages, at the very least.]

[Removes the hand from her neck so that Argilla can look at her injury.]

Thank you.

[Hughes still didn't know his way around Somarium all too well. It definitely felt like a case of the blind leading the blind. If only the streets had some sort of naming convention.

He shook his head, continuing to run through the streets. It wasn't as if he was going to achieve anything by wishing that something would suddenly fix itself out of nowhere. All he could do for now was keep his eyes open for that bakery Hawkeye had mentioned, as well as the Lieutenant herself.]

[Roy was still a ways behind. He was at a disadvantage, in that he was far from the city itself when he begun-- but he was making his way as fast as he could towards his injured lieutenant, and perhaps for Hughes.

With hardly nothing to go on, he tried his best to locate her, but it was proving almost impossible.

He kept on searching regardless.]

[Argilla ties off the last of the bandaging, but already she has her doubts on how effective that will be. The easiest thing would be to change to Prithivi and try healing using spells...But she doubts how well she could control the demon. A hungry predator and fresh blood don't mix well together.]

"That's the best I can do...But I we're going to need to get better help." [She glances up as she speaks, and tries not to breathe in too deeply.]

[Jerks her head forward in the smallest of nods before she urges herself to sit up, a hand moving to her throat again.]

Thank you for your help. I'll manage from here.

[Winces, obviously not able to manage herself.]

"...I have a hard time believing that."

[Argilla does an impressive imitation of Gale's B| face as she says that, complete with an arched eyebrow. She stands up from where she was kneeling, but doesn't move any further away.]

"Do you have any comrades here? We might-"

[It's about then that Argilla realizes just how well armed this woman is, and feels faintly embarrassed that she didn't notice the guns OR the ammunition earlier. She glances over at the equipment, before back up at the other woman.]

"...Do you have any flares out of all of that?"

My comrades are on their way.

[Glances down at her impressive supply of equipment. It's a good thing she was going into battle before arriving or she would shown up with nothing.]

Yes, in the back pocket of my coat.
