--Yeah, not good. And she'd been doing so well in avoiding Azula before this. She's about to turn away and walk back in the direction she came from, when a thought occurs to her. She can't say she understands perfectly how her certain ex-friend thinks (not that she really wants to either 8|), but talking to her actually might not get lightning bolts flung her way. Possibly.]

oh, like azula is any more pleased to mai than mai is to see her. she's always hated people seeing her at anything but her very best, and so it takes more--so much more--to keep her anger down, to turn around and give mai that impassive look she's been saving for her as of late.]

[she turns slightly in his direction, eyeing him coolly. it's tough for her to keep her composure, although she's always been good at it; there is something unsettling and upsetting about being seen when she was less than perfect. she snorts in disdain before turning back around.] How amusing to see that one is impressed by such a simple little trick.

[Here, have Ty Lee doing an assortment of cartwheels and wince inducing moves in the field when she stops abruptly at the sight of a scarecrow going up in smoke. She immediately rights herself and runs over to investigate when she realizes that the source of who's doing it is none other than Azula]

[So despite being clearly worried about the scarecrow she can't exactly get angry at Azula because well...it's Azula.]
