Sera hesitantly went to find Gale after their conversation, as she wiped away the tears she shed, though she was trying to be tougher... She had to make sure that Gale was ok. That feeling of being devoured from the inside was something she knew all too well, as much as she tried to remind herself that she would see Serph again... But he was the one who was back in their world, having to fight on his own.
When she finally found the tactician, she stayed by the door as she addressed him.
Cielo wasn't feeling any better then his comrades, but Serph would be back. Argilla too. Everyone told him that he'd been here before, he just didn't remember it. So that would mean they had to come back too, right? He kept trying to tell himself that, even thought it wasn't really making himself feel any better.
He'd heard the crash of the glass, and he knew Sera was crying, so he quickly tried to make his way out to look for everyone. They were comrades, they all needed to stick together. Even moreso now then ever before. As much as he'd never want to admit it out loud, after Argilla and now Serph, he was afraid of ending up alone. He'd be no good alone.
Gale relaxed at hearing his comrades' voices. He couldn't stay angry at either Sera or Cielo... The blue-haired Embryon was like a brother to him, and Sera...
I wonder. Will you ever know, Sera?
...regardless of the girl's parentage, she was like a daughter to him. He would protect her. They all would. Just as they had always done. But even without the anger, that clawing feeling inside of him remained.
He turned to face them.
"Sera..."
Gale went to her, gently pulling her to him. It had made Fred feel better...would it help both him and Sera?
Sera's eyes widened as Gale pulled her to him, and she tried to look up at him. First Gale had acted really angry, and now this... Gale was usually the one who always remained calm and collected, in any situation. If he was reacting this strongly, Serph's disappearance must have hurt him a lot more then she knew it would.
He was warm... She didn't realized just how much she needed a hug at that moment. Softly, she put her arms around him too.
