Dist was sitting by Jade's bed, watching the entrance to the room anxiously. It was rather infuriating that he had to keep sneaking in, avoiding the Jade Gang. In fact, he was more than a little tired of all of them, especially that rabid mongrel Guy. Just who did he think we was, making him sleep in the basement without a bed? At least the Kaiser Dist SM cockpit was comfortable, but that was beside the point!
However, at the sound of Jade moving, Dist was immediately startled out of his brooding and turned to stare at the colonel. "Jade...?"
Jade tilted his head towards the familiar voice. For once he didn’t mind Dist’s presence. “What happened?” he asked, finding his voice to come out somewhat weaker than expected.
The outburst didn’t exactly answer Jade’s question, but it did indicate that he had likely fallen into a coma. “How long was I asleep?” he asked, raising his voice slightly to be heard over Dist’s sobs.
IN THE KITCHEN \o\rappigs4prezOctober 13 2009, 02:12:06 UTC
Adjust... wasn't the right word at all. Adaption was more like it. If adaption wasn't achieved, the person would obviously fail. Peony offered a small chuckle and shrugged his shoulders, sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck as his gaze wandered about the kitchen. It was nice, needless to say, that he wasn't displeased not to be in the palace, but still.
"We've tried." He beamed brightly -- as brightly as the Emperor could, anyhow -- and then faltered when he decided he needed to elaborate. "The party wasn't all that exciting, so I don't think you missed too much, Nephry. Though, I can't speak for Jade so, you're going to have to ask him yourself."
...Besides, he was curious to hear what went on before his own arrival, any who.
IN GUY'S BEDROOM (Totally not doing any inappropriate behavior. ...Okay maybe a little.)charmingmasterOctober 13 2009, 03:43:04 UTC
"And just sort of behavior would that be?" Jade asked with feigned innocence. Not that anyone would believe the question was innocent for a single moment. After his rude awakening and everything that happened since then he couldn't help the urge to be as difficult as possible. Not that he was ever inclined to indulge Dist's rants with calm explanations or answers.

Tear remained motionless as she stood there, not wanting to say much anymore, but Dist was getting on her own last nerve, and sooner or later she might just have to teach him a lesson. She crossed her arms, her face still fixed a bit angrily.
Yes, what sort of behaviour indeed? Did she even want to know?
