[Kallen watches Lelouch emerge. Obviously, he wouldn't be pleased with the damage to his house, but even she can tell that he's relieved to be out of the basement. She feels relieved, too, but there's still something eerie at work that she can't put her finger on.

Or, she thinks, she's just being paranoid. In response to Lelouch's statement, she folds her arms: in Shinjuku, her people had been slaughtered by the Britannians; in Narita, it was Kallen herself who'd done the slaughtering. As she speaks, she doesn't hold Lelouch's eye.]

Yeah, I remember.

[And she waits for C.C, figuring they'd establish some sort of plan once she showed up.]

[C.C. is listening silently, trailing behind like a phantom as she fingers some rubble, her fingers breaking off a piece of wood that all too easily shatters into sawdust.]

It was probably safer in the basement.

[Lelouch looks to C.C. and frowns]

Of course, it was safer in the basement. [He pauses, glancing out the shattered window] Shall we take a look around the city? I haven't been in contact with anybody since the sandstorm started and I am slightly curious as to the condition of the rest of Somarium. It's obvious from looking at my house that this storm was... rather destructive.

[Kallen still has an uneasy feeling, but she ignores it. The storm was over--the worst thing that could happen now would be if a building collapsed on them.]

That's fine with me. Where should we start?

[Sorry, C.C. This question is not directed at you.]
