Tieria stared at his Dreamberry and mapped out the quickest and safest route to Soma Peries' location. He was unsure of what to expect now that the storm had died down; however, per instruction, he equipped himself with an adequate weapon. It was a rather large gun he'd found after Treize Khushrenada rescued him. The large gun, along with the handgun he regularly carried on his person, should get him safely to Peries.
He took in a deep breath and started out toward the woman and the fallen Dylandy, thankful for the tracking system on the Dreamberry.
The strong gusts of wind obscured vision on the best of days, but little could shield that curious hair color from view, or the confident trek of a very familiar face-- much anticipated.
"Erde," Soma called out clearly, if not loudly, lest she draw unneeded attention of whatever may be lurking nearby. A body of a desert hyena lay not far, blackened blood drying from a bullet wound on it flank.
"We need to leave for an enclosed place quickly," the young soldier all but ordered, standing up quickly despite her hair whipping about her face, "these guns won't last us much longer under these circumstances."
"Understood," he nodded as he quietly rushed toward Soma's location. He arrived, slightly out of breath, and instantly bent down to look at the body laying beside her. Seeing Lyle's lifeless body laying on the ground was more difficult than he realized it would be, but now was not a time to be sentimental as their lives were truly in danger. He couldn't protect Lyle now, but he could do his best to protect Neil and the others. He had failed his crew once before and he could not let that happen in Somarium.
He looked up at the young woman, his voice a hushed tone, "When did you find him? What are your plans for his body?"
It was going to be harder than what she had anticipated. Soma found herself swallowing before she found her voice.
"He was already dead when I arrived, apparently from an attack," she cast one last glance at the still body before closing the door over it, sealing it inside, "we can't take hi-- it with us. We need to do all that is possible for us to survive."
I'm sorry, it was a fleeting, painful thought, before it was cast away.
"We have to make sure the others don't suffer the same fate. For now, I can take you to where we can find adequate weapons."
