[And she's trudging through the sand valiantly, except her frame's kinda small and she's getting tossed along more than she's moving, really. But that's beside the point. The point is, that she's all but worried sick over Estelle- No, that's not the point. The real point is, she's completely lost and has no idea where she's headed to, really. :/ It could be worse - she could be headed in the opposite direction, but thankfully, she's only a little off.

Ooop, she's just walked into a wall. Yeah, can't really see where she's going, even with the goggles that're actually doing something. xD Cue swearing- Oh, she shouldn't have. There's sand down her throat now, and it's not coming back up. :/]

[He worries if his voice will be heard over the howling wind and wailing of the monsters.]

[Yeah, she hears something all right. Unfortunately, after a few moments of trying to croak a response without getting more sand down her throat, she gave a frustrated huff in defeat. Yeah, middle of the sandstorm here? How the hell is that guy still intelligible?

Whee, glyph glow. When you can't be heard, do the next best thing. Have a spiral flare exploding overhead her current location. What, it's loud and effective. What do you mean it's overkill? :/]

[The flare catches him by surprise, and he heads toward it, hearing a semi-disgruntled voice in his thoughts. He stumbles across a woman, wind swept hair and sand pelting her skin. He steps in front of her, letting the sand hit his back, using his body as a shield so she can have some kind of relief at least from the front.]

[Trapped in the dark, it was hard for Estelle to know how long she had been in the basement. She could still hear the wind outside, as well as the wailings that had started before the sandstorm. Using weak 'Photon' spells, she had been able to see her surroundings. The sturdy brick walls around her would be able to withstand the storm, but it was the ceiling that worried her. After she had heard loud crashing noises, the princess had tried to push open the trapdoor of the basement, but to no avail. She was stuck underground, and now the weight of the collapsed house on the ceiling of the cellar was causing the wood to creak once in a while. Sand was starting to slow seep in through small cracks. Estelle couldn't tell how long she had been able to give her location to Edward. Though she had to admit, despite the oblivious panic expression in his eyes, she was happy to know that he was coming for her. That thought only made the wait bareable. Still, she was hoping that him and her friends would find her soon. If the ceiling would fall

[She said it was a house close to the library, but it's hard for him to hear anything over the wailing. Edward pauses for a moment, letting his defenses down and his vampiric senses take over. He can smell everything, feel every grain of sand as it hits him. The smell of human blood permeates his senses, driving the monster inside him crazy, but he ignores it, focusing instead on the faint, faint cry he hears... someone calling his name.

He runs in the direction, ignoring the sharp sting of the sand and the people with him. Her voice is getting louder now, and his feet appear to be stepping through rubble.]

Estelle! It's Edward! Keep talking to me, love, so I know you're okay!!

[She hears footsteps over her and she can't help it but feel relieved. Someone found her! She keeps banging on the door on the floor of the crumbled house, calling out for her boyfriend]

Edward! Edward! I'm right here!

[Her hands are starting to sting from hitting the door, splitters scratching her skin and her throat is hurting from all the yelling and the sand she breathed before she found shelter in the basement. But her discomfort doesn't matter to her anymore: he has found her and it won't be long now before she can see his face again]

[He can hear her clearly now over the howling wind. Her voice causes him to sigh in relief, before tracking the sound of her heart beat to a spot that houses a great deal of rubble.]

[From behind her, he places his hand firmly on her shoulder, moving past her to ensure that there isn't an enemy or natural disaster waiting to strike at them.]
