[She drops the shield she had been using to ward off the sand ever since she got caught outside during the sandstorm. She's been holding it for hours, and a fine sheen of sweat has broken out on her skin due to her efforts to keep the shield up and strong for so long. She walks a few feet before falling to her knees, face white and pale, fingers still clenched around her wand.]

[After some debating as to whether he should leave Anemone by herself or not, Dominic decides to grab his rifle and head out into the city while the storm was calm, paying the scratches on his face and hands no attention. Not long after he leaves, he notices a girl on her knees. His soldier side kicking in, he runs towards her.]
[Well shit. Did he have a hangover or what? 3/4 of a bottle of hard liquor would have knocked a normal man out, Nero wasn't that fortunate. Well at least the storm stopped again, and he learned his lesson. Drinking your problems away only works when you're human. That's why he's leaving.
But, where to go now?
The storm was coming back, he could sense that much. Someone can come try to take his disoriented ass somewhere safe, but don't mind the rudeness, he isn't feeling too well~]
[Miranda's walking around, shaking visibly and wringing her hands. This is bad. This is very, very bad. The storm took her off guard; she hadn't thought it would be so bad. What about everyone in Somarium? She's worried about all of them. She also doesn't know if it'll come back, and she's very nervous about that. So much that she doesn't watch where she's going. So, she trips over something. Hard.
[He'll just get thrown to the floor now. Sorry! He's just too hungover to react that fast, so he won't be catching you. He's just going to lie on the floor now, groaning in obvious discomfort.]
[First, she rubs her head; she hit it off of him, and it hurts. But a moment later, she hears his groans, opens her eyes, sees him on the ground. Have a frantic, spazzing woman running up to you.]
Strawhats assemble! Form of Blue Sea Cook /o/blacklegcookSeptember 3 2009, 20:30:57 UTC
[he watches his captain run off like the idiot he is and his just a little more than peeved at his typical antics. There still wasn't any certainty if the storm was over or not. Ah~ If only his heavenly goddess was here to tel them. Until then--]

Danny shifts his weight from foot to foot, staring up at the sky. This storm defenitely isn't over--the clouds are kind of a dead giveaway for that. Still, who knows when another lull like this will appear?
Danny shrugs uncomfortably, and resumes his stride. It doesn't matter which direction he's heading in, or where he is; he just wants to keep moving. The storm is no issue, not while he can still go ghost... That means he can walk until the storm comes back, right?
Danny jerks violently in surprise, whipping around. "W-What?! ...Oh."
"I'm not ansty! I'm just--" Well, he did just jump a foot in the air from her appearance. (In his defence, that's totally justified.) "... Nervous," he admits grudgingly.
"What about you? Shouldn't you be finding a safe place before the storm comes back?" He picks up his pace, hoping in some petty part of his mind that she'll have trouble keeping up.
No such thing. She keeps up in pace with him just fine. ...It probably helps that she's now standing on top of one of her crab shaped robots that is currently running on full travel mode. The rest were just walking sideways just like a real crab.
"Oh I'm fine. I've already marked suitable locations nearby in case. By my calculations, we still have a couple of hours before the storm hits again. Or at least, if my data so far is correct."
She then looked at him at little close. "Nervous? About what?
SOMEWHERE IN SOMNI (Open like the wiiiiind~!)clueless_comSeptember 3 2009, 22:59:51 UTC
[During this whole storm so far Chii has been keeping herself cooped up in one of the empty building in Somni, not wanting to get herself lost or hurt. The whole concept of strange grains of soil (sand) flying around everywhere was, quite frankly, very new to her. She knew that water sometimes fell from the sky (she was proud of knowing that much) but sand? That was a new one.
When the storm seemed to have finally gone down a notch, Chii decided to bravely venture out and see if she could find someone. She had a lot of unanswered questions to ask]
[was just wandering around, scoping out the damage and taking a general survey of everything that's happen. still something didn't feel right...and will be just walking past CATCH HIM CHII!]

Are you all right?

I... think so. Just a little weak from shielding for so long.
[She notices the rifle in his hands.]
Are you a soldier?
Reply
[Oh, right, rifle. Strapping that onto his back now.]
Ah... yes. Or I was, at least, before coming to this world.

Excuse me. Can you tell Chii what is going on?

Were you hiding in a closet? A freak sandstorm has been blowing through here. And I don't think it's over yet.
