There had still been no word on the doctor, and Nagi wasn't sure what to think of this. He didn't like having to turn to the scientist first, as friendly as she'd seemed over the phone. He couldn't trust her solely based on that bit of interaction ( Read more... )

It wasn't even a second before the door just opened for him. There was no one else inside what seemed like a normal looking reception room for a clinic.

"Now, now, don't be shy," Washu suddenly said from his left. A number of floating transparent, holographic screens full of data could be seen around her. Surprising Nagi really wasn't a good idea at this point, but at least she hadn't snuck up on him. He spun around to face her, ready to bite open enough of his skin to let him bleed for the Branch of Sin. He calmed upon getting a better look at her, and was settled before she approached him.

"I am." He held up his right arm, severed from a couple inches below the elbow. His shirt was torn their too, in fact, as he'd been wearing it at the time. The end had been wrapped in bandages, but it wasn't a professional job.

"A little antsy, hm?" she just said calmly before taking a few steps closer to inspect the arm. A little gruesome, but nothing she had never seen before.

"Hm..." She held out her hand as if to reach for the arm and examine it closer. "May I?"

"I did warn you I would be." Nagi continued to look wary but held his arm up further, rolling back the sleeve with his good hand. He wasn't particularly worried about further damage to the arm. That wasn't important.

She looked innocent enough, but then so had that little Undertaker girl.
