And luckily, Ion was home, having had his fill of the heat outside. Not expecting visitors, he was a little surprised that anyone was turning up at random at this particular time of day--unless, of course, it was someone looking for Saber.
Well, he was partly correct. The man at the door sort of did look like someone she might know. His air suited his knocking style quite nicely, too. Something about him gave Ion the opinion that he probably was going to head straight to business.
"Can I help you?"

And Ion was right in that regard. Gilgamesh would, under normal circumstances, probably throw a few insult around to the person he's talking with first, cement the impression that he was the King of the World second (which wasn't TOTALLY false), and then jump to what's important, but this matter is entirely different and very much more urgent.
Easily shoving aside the initial reaction of 'this boy calls himself a man?' any first impression that he may be getting of this green-haired youth whom Saber considered as a younger sibling, he rewarded the polite inquiry with one narrow-eyed ruby glare before stepping into the living room. His impatient gaze quickly made a round of the room that he was not entirely unfamiliar with, and then stopped towards the direction where Saber's room would be ( ... )

So far this wasn't exactly going well. In the two seconds they'd been in each other's company, he hadn't really gotten the impression this guy was around to be friendly. It now seemed especially like he had a very particular goal in coming by, and he probably wasn't going to leave until he'd gotten what he wanted. "...are you looking for something?"

Yet apparently he still had enough patience left to reply with useless chatter, instead of acting upon his impulse as always. Not really one for self-contemplation, he just finally settled with an irritable reply.
"Yes. How was she the last time you saw her, and when was this?"
