*Jaina is here, in the dress and necklace she was wearing in her dream. It's a relatively cool outfit, which is nice in the warm summer air.

She wonders if she's one of the first ones to arrive.*

Ah, Jaina. I was hoping you'd be the first one here. I have a gift for you. [He bows, wings flashing against the white of his tailcoat.]

Oh? *Jaina looks surprised - as much by his offer as by the fact that he's wearing actual fairy wings. How unusual*

[Taking a step to the side, Schneizel retrieves a beautifully-wrapped golden box and offers it to Jaina. Inside, as she opens it, she will find a lovely pair of blue bird's wings, sized for her exact measurements, and made to clip to the back of her dress.]

[Edward arrives in a rather noble-princelike get up, something more reminiscent of the early 1900s (or late 1800s).

He stands near the entrance waiting for Estelle while worrying about Alice at the same time.]

[Estelle arrives dressed as a less revealing lady pirate costume, her own rapier tied to her waist to complete the outfit. She joins Edward at the entrance]

Edward! Oh! You look...hum...really handsome....

[she smiles and blushes]

[Edward turns to look at Estelle, pleasantly pleased at her costume choice. A smile slowly crosses his features.]

I could say the same for you, my lady. [raises her hand to his lips to brush a kiss on the back of her knuckles]

You look beautiful in that outfit.

[whispers in her ear] Perhaps we can put it to good use later tonight at your place?

Oh my! Mission Accomplished then >D

[She bows lightly, smiling before turning completely beat red at his whispered words]

Oh...I-if you want to....

[So a certain little blond boy arrives, having heard by word of mouth about the open celebration ball. And naturally, being the little noble he is, he figured it'd be polite to attend. Perhaps he can meet the people in charge of this place and thank them for their...somewhat hospitality?

So, he's dressed just like this, unable to remove the hat or any part of the costume because he couldn't find anything to wear for this event. He thought it'd be okay but...apparently this place had other plans.]

[As the attendant of a noble, and especially the attendant of this particular noble, whether or not Raven himself desired to come to the ball was completely and utterly irrelevant. So despite a number of protests, here he is, making at least a valiant attempt to not look entirely on edge about this whole thing.

...at least until they walk in the door and Oz's assurances that their lack of costuming wouldn't be a problem turns out to be so very wrong. Raven is now wearing this cat costume, though he hasn't yet realised exactly what it is - he's a little too busy staring at Oz.]

[Unlike Gil, of course, Oz notices that he's suddenly in...shoes that definitely aren't the norm--and do they have hearts? He lifts a hand to touch what feels to be a hat on his head. It's definitely not Gil's and...are those ears?...]

Hey Gil...when did--[He pauses, looking to his friend and then stifles a laugh. Cue a long stare before his hand drops to cover his mouth, trying to hide his laughter] Gil, as graceful as always~ [Like. A. Cat.]

[Oh, Gil is aware something's gone wrong with his ensemble; there's a bow fluffing up in his face that definitely was not there a moment ago, and he seems to be wearing far less than he should out in proper company. And Oz...the young master looks like something that just escaped from the circus.]

What- [he manages to lower his voice to a strangled hiss] Where are our clothes?

[Walks in, looking drastically different from "Minako." Instead of her usual medium-length dark brown hair, it was a long blonde, reaching well past her waist. Part of it was pulled back with a deep red bow, in the center of which a heart-shaped crystal was suspended, with beaded ribbons hanging down her back from it. On top her head was a silver tiara, with a brilliant silver stone set in its center. Her dress is simple in design, with a tank-top-like bodice, tied at the shoulders with ribbons, low back, tight waist, and thin skirt, all in a lovely golden color, not too dissimilar from her hair. Filling the skirt out more fully was a sheer golden overlay, wrapping around her waist and flowing out behind her. Finishing the facade, she had a simple golden ribbon tied around her neck, and her Jewelry Star Bracelet on her left wrist.]

[--managing to have escaped from his overprotective best friend for a few moments to explore, Oz is quite elated to see a familiar face amongst the crowd, despite his awkward outfit.]

Minako~! [Pause; wait a second, she looks a lot different than how he remembers....] ...I think?~ [oh dear, how embarrassing if he got the wrong person.]

[He's good with faces, surprisingly. Either way, he's now blushing full on, quite surprised at that compliment. Oh dear...stupid outfit!]

[Feldt came to see what everyone was making a fuss about. Without a costume. So on arrival, she found herself magically thrown into a fairy costume, Tinkerbell's, to be more precise. The longest tips of the skirt barely went halfway down her thighs and she had nothing to hide her cleavage as her outfit was strapless. Her long pink hair was tied up in a bun and a set of wings completed the costume. For anyone who might run into her, she's continually tugging down on her skirt a little to cover her legs up as much as she can, but the effort is futile.]

[Sees Feldt, and uh...]

[Have this face. No, he's not making it in a good way.]

[Getting the feeling she's being watched, she turns and sees that look as her face starts turning bright red. Oh crud....]

I-I can explain!

[Did... Feldt pick out this costume...? He can't even fathom there being a universe where she would. He respectfully averts his eyes slightly to the left, focusing on the cluster of flowers behind her. Of course, she's an older girl now, and she can wear whatever she likes, but something's definitely not right.]

...I like the hair. [The compliment comes out awkward because... he's trying to be sincere about some aspect of it when his first instinct is to throw a tablecloth over the poor girl.]
