[Minako walks onto the stage, bows, then begins her song]

[ooc: sorry for the crappy subs, I couldn't find a decent quality video without them in it]

[smiles and bows again, before walking off]

[She listens while smiling at her friend. Not before long, she's clapping her hand in sync with the tempo, moving from one side to another with each clap. At the end of the song, she applauds with enthusiasm, getting up from her seat in the front line of the audience]

Ah! Miss Minako! This was so beautiful! I love your voice! And the song is so....happy!!! I think your performance was very entertaining! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talent with us!

[She applauds some more]

The air seemed nice, breezy as she approached the stage. Her hair matted against her form as she approached the stage. She didn't know why she was doing this, but she was prepared to do it with all of her heart. It had been a while since she had sang, so she was eager to do so. The young woman stood on the stage now, with her hands at her sides, eying the audience and the judges with a calm face.

She took in a breath and let it out.

Slowly, she started to sing, letting the melody flow like it was part of herself.

"Tue rei ze croa riou tue ze
Croa riou ze tue riou rei neu riou ze

Va rei ze tue neu tue riou tue croa
Riou rei croa riou ze rei va ze rei

Va neu va rei va neu va ze rei
Croa riou croa neu tue rei croa riou ze rei va

Rei va neu croa tue rei rei..."

She looked up after singing, with a small smile on her face, another bow and the maiden left the stage carefully.

Frederic Chopin poet_of_piano June 8 2009, 01:54:37 UTC
One might assume that a highly experienced performer and composer, such as Frederic Chopin, would be completely comfortable with performing in front of large audiences by now, but in truth, it was extremely rare for him to give a public performance. By the end of his life, he typically held one concert a year at the Salle Pleyel in Paris. Concerts made him feel disconnected from his audience, and he had much preferred the closeness of performing in small salons, which were much smaller social gatherings ( ... )

Austria listened intently to Chopin's performance, rather glad to hear the other man perform in person here in Somarium. Austria was a fan of Chopin's compositions, to say the least, and it had been some time since Chopin had passed away in his home-world. Hearing a musician as skilled as Chopin perform was always a pleasure in Austria's opinion, no matter where the musician was performing.

As Chopin took his final bow after completing his piece, Austria applauded politely, glad to have heard Chopin perform one of his own works in person.

The vampire was sitting there, listening slowly, with his eyes closed. The melody flowed nicely, he thought. The person was extravagant with their performance. The player was indeed very into it, as he could tell. Red hues opened and stared off at the person, watching and listening. The song ended and he seemed to be almost pleased with it. Music was something he had been hearing for quite some time. There were various kinds, and he supposed this one wasn't so bad. He had his good experience of the bad and good sides of music.

He let his hands come together to create a noisy clap enough to please the player. He seemed at peace for once. Maybe taking a break worked. Well, hell without Ishtar to stress him out, he seemed to be out of things to do. This was probably one of the things he did out of boredom.

Jaina's Magic Show wantedtostudy June 7 2009, 23:01:15 UTC
The sorceress walked onstage, feeling a momentary flutter in her stomach at the thought of so many eyes on her, but she willed it away - after all, it couldn't be any worse than some of the examinations she'd faced while studying in Dalaran ( ... )

Yukina sat in the audience, her eyes glued to Jaina's performance. She had wanted to see Jaina's abilities in person since the dream of hers that she had seen. After all, Yukina was not used to humans having abilities such as the ones Jaina possessed, and she thought it was impressive how varied the other woman's magic could be. For a moment, it made Yukina think on her own abilities; really, she could not do much at all with her powers, despite being an ice apparition.

Pushing those thoughts aside, Yukina clapped rather enthusiastically at the end of Jaina's performance, rather impressed with what she had seen.

Nothing but cheap parlor tricks. That's all they were.

Heat's arm pulsed an angry red, his lip curling in repulsion of the water swirling around Jaina. The magic show wasn't an attack, but the hunger inside of him wanted it to be, ached for an offensive move. He wanted any god damn excuse to get up on that stage and sink his claws into breathing, living flesh. The restraint he'd been expending over the past several weeks wore him thin; sheep and sharp-toothed rabbits would barely satiate his demon-sized appetite for much longer. He needed something more substantial to tide him over.

Some supplements, Washu. Not only did they taste like shit, but they barely kept his head and stomach in order. As a result, Heat was dissatisfied and remarkably irritable lately, his Atma glowing in protest and longing over small provocations. And now, Jaina's water show was enough to give him one too many disgruntled hunger pangs on one of his daily rounds. He paused to observe from the outer edges of the audience, his arms crossed over his chest.

[Looks around at the settings] You must be exhausted though after having to set everything up. I could have helped if you needed me to, you know.
