As Frederic walked, he had his hat in one hand, and the other one was at his forehead where a slowly disappearing bruise could still be seen. He seemed a lot more alert then usual, as if he was watching for something.

It was this extra attention that lead to him discovering a pond he hadn't seen before. He also saw a boy who was wearing all red sitting by it with a fishing pole... Frederic didn't realize that fish existed in Somarium. Curiously, he walked up to the pond to look in the water, not really wanting to disturb the boy since he seemed to be concentrating.

Lloyd wasn't really concentrating on the fish pole and heard someone getting closer. Turning around, he didn't recognized the young man. He was pretty sure he had never met him before, nor had seen him on his Dreamberry.

"Hey!" he waved slightly.

Frederic blinked, looked at the boy, and then smiled.

"Ah. Hello!." He said. Then he looks up at the sky for a moment and continues, "It's a lovely day, isn't it?"

He then looks back down at Lloyd's fishing rod and wonders aloud, "Have you been able to catch anything?

Lloyd looked up at the sky too and smiled:

"Yeah it is. I hope the weather is going to stay nice until the summer!"

The young man looked back at his fishing pole and shrugged slightly:

"Not really...But I think I'm not trying hard enough..."

That being said, he recasted his line further then where it was lying previously.

[raises an eyebrow]

It must have been pretty lonely if you were just watching people. Though I'm sure you've seen interesting things here.....

Something broke through the pond's surface. It wasn't sudden, as it didn't need to be. Slowly but surely, Quote's head made it out of the water, not too far from Lloyd himself. As he walked out, his clothing stuck tightly to him, and the thin cloth of his top made the dent on his chest stand out [ooc: geddit? *shot*] quite a bit.

What possesed the robot to make him want to take a stroll underwater, not even he did know. Nostalgia, maybe?

Lloyd watched, mouth slightly open in surprise as the robot walked out of the pond. He blinked a few times, wondering where he was coming from. The young man had been at the pond for at least an hour and he had not seen anyone walk in the pond.

"Are....are you okay?" is the only thing he could think of asking.

Quote looked over at Lloyd when he spoke up. "Y'ss, I'mmm-m-m fain," the robot said, even though it was obvious by his speech that he wasn't. He was just used to it.

Finally out of the pond, the android let himself sit down and proceeded to take off his boots. He tilted them over to let the water trickle out.

"Are you sure? You don't look like it" asked Lloyd, one eyebrow raising questioningly.

[sitting over by the water]

...I don't believe there are actually fish in this pond.

[looks over to the voice hailing him and shrugs]

I'm starting to think that too. I haven't even got a bit since I sat down.

What's the point of continuing to try, then?

Well....it's relaxing and it's better than being home doing nothing, I guess.

What are you doing here?

Tieria had just come from the library and decided to take his newest acquisition and sit by a small body of water he had seen earlier in the week. He needed somewhere to relax by himself. The last time he tried to sit outside and read he got rudely interrupted by some not-so-welcome guests. As he approached the small pond, he noticed somebody sitting on the edge with a pole of sorts in their hands.

Tieria frowned, but decided to walk over anyway. He sat down near the young man and looked over, offering a nod (the slight frown still on his face) and nothing more. He opened his notebook and jotted down a few notes before placing it to the side and beginning the book he had gotten that morning.

Lloyd returned the nod politely, not minding a silent companion, and rolled in his line. Drawing back the fish pole, he cast the line in a swift move, sending the bait to a new spot. But before the weight touched the water, the wind picked up, sending the hook right the Tieria.

"Ah! Watch out!" called Lloyd, hoping it was not too late.

Tieria turned looked towards the voice just in time to see a hook flying at him. He let out an uncharacteristic yell and dropped his book, attempting to quickly get out of the way so the hook didn't hit him in the face. After a few moments of laying on the grass, he sat up and looked in the direction of the man who sent the hook his way. If looks could kill, Lloyd would certainly be dead right now.

"What do you think you are doing, you fool?!" he yelled, wincing slightly. The hook had found itself, instead of being lodged in the mouth of a fish, lodged in Tieria's shoulder.

Lloyd's eyes became as round as saucers when the hook hit Tiera and he quickly jumped to his feet, making his way to the other man. He winced slightly as he caught the man's glare, but he didn't mind, due the circumstances. He would have probably done the same too.

"I'm really sorry! Are you all right?" he asked, looking sheepishly for what happened.
