Frank kept himself concealed up the large tree just outside of the station. The branches were thick and already full of lush, green leaves; perfect for concealing the young soldier. He kept still, waiting for Raiden to come closer.

Once the cyborg was in range, the young ninja drew his machete from the sheath on his thigh and jumped down out of the tree. He barely waited for his feet to touch the ground before he sprang at Raiden, slashing with his blade.

Raiden expected this. He was ready.

The telltale clink of a drawn blade and the fervent rustling of tree branches drew Raiden's attention. The tree's sounds alone were enough to tip the cyborg ninja of a disturbance in the environment. He tore his own blade out of his sheath and met Gray's blows with his defensive blocks, making sure to flip the blade on its dull side between slashes. He allowed Gray to attack for a few rounds, studying his movements with a keen eye.

Raiden took advantage of the next opening, aiming to disarm gray with a knock of his fist.

The boy wasted no time in dodging from Raiden's attempts to disarm him. He kept a firm grip on his machete as he ducked and weaved away from Raiden; keeping himself just out of the cyborg's range.

He did a no-handed cartwheel -- just like Raiden had taught him -- trying to get behind the mechanical man to begin another assault.

Raiden felt an unusual swell of pride at Gray's perfectly-executed cartwheel. He learned well! But he didn't dawdle for long; he heard the boy move around his back. Raiden crouched and sailed in a back flip over Gray's head.

Now who was behind who? It was Raiden's turn for an onslaught.

He advanced on the young ninja's back, aiming a swipe at the side of Gray's head.
