Who: Clovis and whoever else comes along.
Where: Espoir
Style: Either; First
Status: Open; Help the poor Prince?

Well, that was incredibly unhelpful. All of the commoners in front of the village had no answers to where he was, even when told him he was a Prince ( Read more... )

Her entire body was aching... from head to toe. Even her ears and teeth felt like they were crying out in response to her morning training ritual. Cornelia squeezed the hilt of her gun-sword, transforming it back into her Dreamberry and slipped it into the pouch around her waist. One hand moved up to massage her shoulder as she made her way back to the tavern she had been staying at with Schwann.

I can't believe the overlord extended this butler nonsense for another week, she thought, her mouth settling into a firm line ( ... )

Finally, someone he knew, and his older sister, no less. Though Cornelia did look much different than he remembered her to be, but it has been a couple of years since he had last seen her.

She somehow seemed older...? It was no matter, Clovis dismissed, at least she was a friendly face.

"Cornelia, I'm so glad to see you." He smiled, "Do you know where we are? I'd hate to admit, but I believe I've gotten lost."

She nodded slightly, a hand moving up to her forehead as she tried to call to mind words that could explain the world they were in. "Indeed... you are." She said, dryly.

Glancing back at him, though, she felt her throat constrict. The last time she had seen him, well...

"I... Clovis, what is the last thing you remember before waking up here?" She asked, tilting her head slightly as she watched him.

Cornelia seemed a bit upset about something, but he was more disconcerted with the fact they are both stranded here.

"The last thing I remember?" Clovis thought aloud, trying to sift through his foggy memory. "Ah, I went to my private quarters after I ordered the re-urbanization of the Shinjuko Ghetto. I ended up here after falling asleep."

He was annoyed with the fact that he was utterly helpless now, and he could offer little assistance to his sister. Then, he remebered what one of the residents had told him earlier.

"Cornelia, are any of our other siblings here, too?"

She was taking a break from watching Asch fail at tennis. She figured "lending" him to Haruhi for an afternoon would do little harm and great good. So she was walking around the sections of Espoir she had yet to see when she stumbled on a blond that looked a mixture of confused and annoyed. He must be new.

Saber approached him cautiously, not sure what to expect. She felt like it had been a bad idea to leave her sword in the apartment, but she judge this noble looking man was not trained in extensive combative arts.

"Excuse me, but are you lost?"

Indeed, he was new, but he didn't know yet what he was new for. He was trying to convince himself that he was still in Britannia. Clovis was a bit startled when Saber approached him, too busy looking for any signs.

"Ah, yes." He said, straightening his jacket. He hoped he didn't seem too obviously lost. It wouldn't do for royalty to appear confused. "I am Price Clovis la Britannia. I wish for you to give me directions to any immediate Britannian outpost from this...village." He looked over the girl, and was at least consoled by the fact that she didn't seem to resemble an Eleven.

Saber was a King once, so she could immediatly recognize that he was Royalty before he said it. But this prince was a bit...well too prince-ly.

"I am sorry. But I must tell you that you will not find something like that here, Master Clovis." She would not call him 'highness' or 'majesty'...too weird.

"You are not in your own world anymore."

Clovis is the definition of Prince, which may be more bad than good.

He was well pleased with the respect, even if it was not the usual Your Highness, but...did he hear her right? Another world? He blinked twice, confused.

"Excuse me?" He asked again. He would've said this was some sort of trick, but the girl's stoic face didn't seem the type that joked.

"First, please tell me who you are and where this is. This must be some silly mistake."

Euphie let out a soft yawn, having gotten up early that day to plan the picnic with Setsuna that had been long over due. She had already gotten the basket and the little Tupperware they would need to eat off of, and now all they needed was the food, which... she could do that, right? Well, she really didn't know how to cook that well, as there had always been someone else to do that... but she needed to learn more domestic habits, right?

She let out another yawn; oh dear, was she terrible exhausted though. Perhaps she would sneak in a quick nap...

Her thoughts preoccupied, she turned a corner... and promptly managed to stop dead in her tracks at the blonde she spotted around the bend. It... it couldn't... Oh dear, now she knew how others felt when she had arrived in Somarium.

"Clovis...?" she asked softly. "Is that really you?"

"Ah, Euphie?" He turned and his relief was immeadiately replaced with anxiety. He walked up to her, making sure no commoners were watching them.

"You shouldn't travel alone. You never know what type of unscrupulous people could be on these streets." He then remembered the question Euphie had asked when she saw him. Somehow, her surprised expression was a bit disconcerting. He waved it off, and made a mental note to think on that later.

"Why are you here anyway, Euphie? Do not tell me your guards left you so irresponsibly by yourself, did they?"

He sighed again. Indeed, he thought, good help is hard to find.

Something about this guy seemed familiar. Hmmm. It was maybe, just maybe, the air with which he carried himself, but Shinigami wasn't going to waste time thinking about something like that in a place like this.

If he was going to be in Somarium for awhile, he decided, he might as well acquaint himself with some of his potential neighbors.

"Hey!! What's up?"

"I-..." Clovis stopped mid-sentence when he saw the Shinigami looking over at him. That was one impressive costume, he had to admit. He's probably harmless. It's not like he's the god of death or anything odd like that, right?

"Are you not hot in that black suit?" He wondered aloud, then shook his head. This was no time to be sidetracked. "I am Clovis la Britannia. If you would be so kind, could you tell me where I am? I have no time to dawdle."

"Not at all~ Quite used to it, in fact." He tapped the mask fondly with one large, squared-off finger. "And it's stylish, to boot."

This fellow looked pretty flustered. Maybe he was important wherever he came from. "You're in Somarium. If you're looking for a way out, though, you're not going to have much luck. Hohoho~!"

narcisse_royal March 24 2009, 23:37:51 UTC
No way out? Impossible, simply impossible. If he had his army, he would just steamroll over this village and be done with it. But there was little he could do alone, Clovis grudgingly acknowledged.

"You do not understand. I am a Prince. I was in the middle of an important strategic maneuver, and I care little for excuses." Clovis crossed his arms, looking arrogantly up at the white skull face. "There has to be an exit."

The prince then looked forward to the street, partly to look for any Britannian officers, and partly because the skull face was unsettling him a bit.

Not having been here too long herself, the red haired woman was walking around the village. Ruby red hues fixed on the surroundings in which she had ventured a few times over. She had found a few of her companions, but have yet to meet them.

She somehow disregarded the floating castle for time being as she looked straight ahead noticing someone walking towards her. The maiden looked at the figure faintly, and slowly made her way forward as she had been going. Maybe there was something that that person knows. He seemed rather oddly dressed to her, though.

He saw the red-haired woman approach him from the corner of her eye. She looked to be a respectable woman, and he had no time to be too picky on the commoners he could converse with.

"Ah, excuse me," Clovis greeted, clearing his throat. "You must know who I am, correct? Then, it is prudent that you tell me of this village."

he woman continued to walk silently, until the male came into view. He seemed to be speaking to her. She didn't know much of the place herself, so the maiden wouldn't be much of help, but Mitsuru stopped anyway, and looked him briefly over again. Somehow, he didn't look like anyone that was from her home, at least from her view. He seemed to be telling her that she must know who he was, and that it was prudent she'd tell him of the village.

She closed her eyes and parted her lips, speaking to the male in an even manner, "I'm afraid I can't tell you much. I apologize, but I do not know who you are," she briefly added, "The only detail I know of this village is that it is part of a 'dream' world called Somarium," she replied.

"Dream world?" Clovis scoffed, "What Numbers nonsense is this?" Still, he couldn't wholly dismiss the strangeness of the village. At least she had given him the name of where he was. Satisfied with the answer, he remembered that he had not properly introduced himself as a prince should.

"As thanks, I shall give you my name. I am Clovis la Britannia." He politely nodded his head. "And yours?"
