The familiar feeling of Vegeta's chi prompted Goku to fly over at once, eager to catch up after being dead for... well, many years (Goku never was very good with math). He was just going to fly up to the other Saiyan and say hi when he witnessed Vegeta crash headfirst into an invisible barrier. Goku managed to contain his laughter at first, but watching Vegeta lose his temper, get into a fight with an invisible wall and lose the fight against an invisible wall was just too much.

He was doubled over with laughter now, floating a short distance behind the angry Saiyan prince.

*Gohan, having abandoned his Saiyaman costume for the moment, was hot on the heels of the Saiyan prince ... and as such was just in time to see him collide with the barrier, face-first.

Okay. Yeah. That was ... that was pretty funny. Despite his concern, it took all of Gohan's control to not burst out laughing like his father.*

Vegeta whirled around as the horribly familiar chi flew up behind him, veins popping with rage. He grit his teeth at the sight of the lowly peasant Saiyan having a good laugh at his frustration. Not even the shock of seeing the other warrior alive was enough to shake his anger.

"You think this is funny?! Let's make this a CONTEST OF STRENGTH, Kakarot!" snarled Vegeta. "Do you really think you can break this barrier before me? Ha! Do not underestimate my power!" All that training over the years had to pay off. Kakarot had been dead! There was no way he'd surpass him now... right? Even with his brat present.

With a burst of chi energy, Vegeta began to power up.

Where there's explosions and loud noises, if there is one thing in this world to be certain of... It's the fact Ippongi Ryuuta will be there. In this case, followed closely by Saiyonji Hayato.

Seeing the Saiyans flying high above, Ryuuta did what he did best; cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted.

"OSU!! Someone call for the SOMNI CITY Ouendan?!"

Luke had been out to patrol around the edge of the city, just to see what was around on the outskirts, when he heard the first loud bang came from above him. Instinct kicked in as he hit the dirt, rolling under cover and half expecting to hear the familiar screeching of twin ion engines. But when another loud bang came instead, he looked up... surprised to be able to make up what looked like human beings (or at least human shaped creatures) blasting away at the invisible shield around the city.

"...what the..." he muttered, not sure how else to react.
