Luke, not the type to let a cute gorgeous woman out on her own, had stuck with Legretta. She seemed to tolerate him as long as she didn't catch him grinning at her, so he kept it to himself, for the most part. When her pistols suddenly turned into mini cannons, however, it was enough to nearly make him jump out of his skin.

"W-wow," he murmured, eyes wide.

Legretta just glanced back at him. She really hadn't paid much mind to him. So long as he didn't get in her way, it was fine.

She just continued to descend into the darkness, only remembering about the glow rod that she had clipped to her belt. She unclipped it and after turning it on, held it between her teeth, her hands still holding both pistols.

Luke followed her down, expression turning serious as he slipped his blaster from its holster, flicking off the safety. He tried to calm his mind like Ben had taught him to, to reach out with his senses, but the thought of what he could do brought his mind back to what he learned from Pliskin and his companions. Letting out an awkward noise, he stopped, just sticking to his own instincts instead.

"Do you think anything could live down here?" he asked softly.

Legretta just turned her head slightly to look at him before continuing forward.

"Perhaps."

[finds the open hatch a bit later, and heads down the stairs carefully]

...damn, it's dark down here. You still have that flashlight, Yagyuu?

Of course. *pulling out our trusty flashlight!*

Okay, good. [much easier to see the stairs this way, can reach the bottom without further incident]
