So just how well trained is that puppy? Because not too far away there's a four foot cat that's stopped in his tracks, watching it warily.

Even though it's only small the sight of it makes the hair on the back of his neck stand up somehow.

As far as Jubei knew, time was supposed to stop until you'd woken up from Somarium. It might have been a little harder to believe if he hadn't already come from a world where certain people seemed to be able to travel through time. His own name was the result of a paradoxical time loop.
