[Rise had become accustomed to strange things happening in Somarium during the winter time. The singing trees and candy canes were both new but compared to the events that had happened the year prior, even she considered these relatively tame.

With school winding down to a close and only two more papers to turn in, she figured it was about time she continued with her Christmas shopping, both for herself and for her friends. Who would've thought she'd end up seeing one of said friends out for a still as well.]

Looks like someone's already helping himself to the Christmas treats.

[Lloyd glances over, and something warm lights up inside of him when his eyes land on his friend.]

Rise!

[A huge, almost goofy smile spreads across his face. He waves, then jogs over to meet up with her.]

Isn't that what they're for? They're everywhere! So it's called Christmas, huh?

[If anything was up, Rise was oblivious to it. Lloyd always seemed cheerful after all.]
