Kamui arrived shortly, it may not seem like it but he was a punctual person. Outwardly it may not seem like cared much about time, but to extent he could be polite and considerate of others. This trait was easily shrouded by his distant personality, and that was fine by him, he didn't want people thinking otherwise.

The vampire decided to walk, since the fountain was a short distance from where he stayed. Walking was his preferred mode of transportation,being on his feet made it easier to move and disappear if he wanted to.But he had no intent on disappearing, today he had to be visible.

Nearly on the dot, Kamui arrived at the fountain, spotting Itachi quickly, even though the other blended in well. Had he been waiting long? Maybe, but their agreed time was six and he was not late."...You wanted to speak to me?"

His blue eyes then noticed the small box in other's possession, but he doesn't say anything about it."...What is it?"

Itachi looked up when the other spoke, recognizing he voice. He rose slowly to his feet with the box, and matched Kamui's height. Munin fluttered his feathers, nesting in his spot on Itachi's slender shoulder.

"Kamui-san." Itachi nodded his head politely to the other man. "I wanted to thank you for watching over Sasuke while he was gone. I'm sorry if it burdened you in anyway."

The vampire eyed the crow for a moment, before looking back at Itachi, giving him eye contact. He listened to what the ninja had to say and couldn't help the frown crossing his lips."...thank me? There's no need for that."

And it wasn't like he was with Sasuke alone. There were other people around who were aware that he was sick, and took to watching the young boy as well.

"Sasuke's important to me," Itachi stated. "...There is every reason to thank you." He could tell that what Takuma had said was correct; this was going to be difficult.

"This is for you." Itachi held out the small, plain white box that held Kamui's gift inside.
