[ In the streets of Espoir, a man in a suit is looking if not for a moment rather lost. This was definitely not London. This wasn't the most pleasant of events; finding yourself not where you had originally intended. The place he found himself in had ( Read more... )

[Well, it's that time of the month where new people arrive. Despite how much he detests explaining, Jade was resigned to at least giving basic information to those newcomers he finds. At this stage, he practically has a speech written up about it.]

Greetings. Would I be correct in assuming you're new to Somarium?

[ Oh see, at least this place had people, he thinks idly. ]

Oh crumpets, is that what this place is called? I've just arrived if thats what you mean by new.

[ the criminal mastermind furthers his act of being confused ]

Indeed. You've been plucked from your own world and transported into this one.

[Look at his completely serious face. :| ]

Now who was the fiend who managed to do that?

[ Jim would rather like technology like that on his arsenal ]

I suppose a sort of introduction is due. [ holding out his hand ]

Jim.

[It had become a sort of a habit for Bela recently: coming across new residents in Somarium. Or showing them around before taking them to a bar for a drink. In any case, it kept her busy and she always seemed to meet the most interesting of people.

The first thing she noticed was the suit. Then the way that the man carried himself. Bela liked to read people as it was required if you wanted to be a successful con artist. So she approached him, a friendly smile on her face but it was merely a front until she learned more about this man.]

You'd be right. Although you're among the few who seem so calm about it.

Heeeh. You're familiar with the canon. burnthearts November 13 2011, 05:28:53 UTC
Me, calm? Well. Hardly an adjective I'd use to describe me.

So people get dropped off here a lot then?

Oho yes. I love this show~ agreat_thief November 13 2011, 14:18:24 UTC
Most people who arrive are a lot more angry and shout a lot.

They do. There's always a few new faces each month or so.

Why's that? A flight from here to London shouldn't be too far.

[ He contemplates hijacking a plane briefly. Pardon the man he's met mostly Brits. He assumes he's in the same country ]

[there was little that surprised Sherlock for most of the time, no matter if he was in Somarium or London. But when he saw the new name on his Dreamberry, Sherlock had to see if it was real.

And it may just be his sociopath showing, but he was hoping that it wasn't. He needed some exciting things to come to Somarium, and this just may be it. So he obviously went out to search him, with a concealed gun of course. It's nice to be safe.

Seeing Moriarty with the perfect expression; so perfect that if he didn't know, he'd miss it himself, he decided that one way or another, a subtle game was on.]

Hey there, sexy.

[ Oh Sherlock, don't you see? You're the reason why he's so collected at the moment. The excitement of facing his consulting detective yet again thrilled him to no end. This new place was just another playground. He notice to the gun; and as a private joke between them he simply goes. ]

Well, aren't you pleased to see me?

[despite the situation, Sherlock feels anything but worried. John wasn't around, and there were certainly no snipers. In other words, Moriarty was unarmed, and vulnerable.

If he was anyone else, he would have shot him already. He was an enemy of course, and he had to win this game. But he didn't want to kill a man such as Moriarty. To end his life would bring him no improvement, and he would be unable to know how he thinks; and to leave a puzzle unsolved was something he detested.]

I am. I believe that we have some unfinished business?

[ Oh, no, no. Sherlock. He's banking on you not shooting him. He's to smug to know you won't. Not yet anyway. Jim's playing his hands carefully and he hasn't quite upset anyone yet in Somarium. Sherlock would be labeled a murder, and now who would want that kind of - title ]

I was waiting for you to come to our little date. What's the matter, Sherlock? Scared of Waterfalls?

[Something that would surprise some people was that he doesn't dig through minds as often as most people would if they had his ability and even when he does, he tends to stick with surface thoughts. So it means he hasn't realised that Moriary was merely fishing for information.]

I'm somewhat new myself, but I'll see what I can do to help.

Well, Well, Well. aren't you an angel for helping me out. So there are old people? This thing happen quite often then?

[ Cataloguing Charles already in his mind; trying to see what use he'll be in the future. ]

I'm Jim.

I wouldn't know, I ended up here with the last batch about a month ago. But from what I've heard some people have been here for months.

[If we're only going to work with first names...] I'm Charles by the way. A pleasure.

Charles; pleasures all mine.

Batches? do people just get left here often?

[ That wasn't the most pleasing news for Moriarty to hear ]

[ Sealand was walking through Espoir trying to find something new to do when a man spoke to him. He stopped and turned to the man.]

You're lost? Oh! You must be new to Somarium then! Welcome! [Sealand smiled. He loved meeting the new people that came here!]
