[If you guys thought Kid and Beat were done with their skateboarding shenanigans, you are severely mistaken, Somarium. Now that the snow's just about set in, they've whipped out their snowboards and are racing through the streets of Somarium, using whatever incline they can find to increase

[dash was resting on a cloud when she heard the humans on their snowboards....

Where they racing?! Omg they looked like they were racing! Dash jumped up off her cloud and raced down to them.]

Hey! Are you racing? Oh! I want to race! Can I race too?! [whatever moves they were doing at the time, Dash was able to keep up without a problem and move along with them. She might as well be standing next to them]

[Dash appearing out of nowhere like that? Yeah, pretty much caught Beat off-guard. He loses both his balance and his snowboard as he falls backwards into a nearby snowpile. Hope you don't mind snow in your face, Dash.]

(Dash just blinked when she was met with a face full of snow. But shook it off with a laugh)

Not that graceful, huh? (She laughed a little more when she saw how he fell)

H-here, let me give you a hoof up. (She gave one last chuckle before holding said hoof out to him)

[Beat kinda digs his way out until he's able to see something else besides snow.]

Graceful? You 'spect me to be graceful when you goin' 'round and poppin' up like that?

[He stares at the hoof for just a second before taking it and pulling himself out of the snow pile.]

[Well, since arriving in... Somarium and being sick to boot, life's been pretty crappy. So what better way to make himself feel better than to get a feel for Somni? Yeah, he was sick but he really didn't care at this point.

Of course this also meant that the last thing Neku was expecting were two board idiots racing each other. Good thing he heard them just in time to jump out of the way. Whoa, dizzy now. Okay, maybe he shouldn't have gone for a freakin' walk-]

[Just going to stand up slowly while coughing some. Ugh, this whole thing sucked]

[Of course, Beat is doing to double back after hearing that voice.]

[Okay, coughing is finally over though now his throat is even more sore than it already was. Just gonna glare at Beat a bit]

Trying to get a feel for this city before you almost ran me over.

Yeah. Me and Stipes was havin' a rematch on our boards. We was gonna do it with skateboards, but we ain't gonna let this snow go to waste, ya feel me?

[Gwendolen is at the sidelines, watching curously. She's never seen a sport like that, going around on those wheeled boards.]
What type of sport is that?

[he'll be slowing down and coming up closer alongside Gwendolyn.]

Snowboarding.

I find it rather enjoyable. It's different from the usual skateboarding and the snow provides for excellent acceleration.

[Because of all the snow, Sonic decided to go out and BOARD IT UP. He had a board from when those GUN guys were chasing him and he was thankful for that because this is the best opportunity for snowboarding since he ran away from that avalanche a while back. But while boarding, he came across two guys that looked like they were racing.]

[This is relevant to Sonic's interests. He races down the streets to get to where they are, which is no challenge really. He could go past them if he wanted, but he doesn't. Not yet.]

Hey! You guys having a race?

[Beat isn't even bothered by the fact the hey, there's a blue talking hedgehog beside him right now. He's too concentrated on the race itself to bother commenting on that.]

Course it's a race, yo! What's it look like we doin'?

[It wouldn't be the first time he's gotten that reaction, but he's too fixated on the race idea to care himself.]

Ya think I could race you guys?

[also not bothered, though he does give Sonic a glance. at least he recognizes him from their previous conversation.]

It's a rematch from a previous race, but I don't particularly mind if we had a three-way race.
