Yeah, there's no way he couldn't hear that, even just happening by at some distance away. Recognizing the voice, however, Zuko ventured closer, frowning grumpily at Rapunzel as she dashed about the snow. Apparently barefoot. The girl was freaking crazy.

He himself was bundled up, wearing a thick winter cloak and heavy boots. He had never liked the cold and, living in a decidedly tropical Nation, hadn't had all that many experiences with it outside of his travels hunting for the Avatar. And those had hardly been pleasant times. At least he wasn't stuck in a blizzard this time.

Coming up closer, arms crossed over his chest to keep out the cold, he eyed Rapunzel critically.

"Put some shoes on. Your toes are going to fall off."

"Hmm..."

While Rapunzel's immediate response to seeing Zuko was a slightly brighter look on her face (if that was possible), she quickly replaced it with a smirk exchanged with Pascal before bending down to start packing a handful of snow.

"I can't even feel the cold in my toes! It's not so bad if you run around for a bit. Join me!" While her logic about the numbness in her feet was a little off, her face was flushed from the running about she'd been doing; she was almost hot despite wearing fewer layers than Zuko.

And that handful of snow was slowly taking the form of a nice, round ball.

Seriously? He throws his hands up, exasperated. "The numbness is a bad sign, moron!"

He's not blind, though. Zuko scowls at the obvious snowball, putting his hands up in warning, or perhaps defense. "You're not throwing that at me. Go inside and get shoes on, at least."

She looked down at her feet, wiggling her toes. It seemed like more of a good thing, though the sensation was rather odd; so she wasn't convinced yet that the numbness was a bad sign. Nor was she convinced that she wouldn't be throwing her snowball at Zuko. Rapunzel only took a few steps back as she tucked her hands, snowball still in them, behind her back and refused to let Zuko's scowl deter her.

"Then if I do that, you'll join me? If I even have shoes..."
