You mean like a real ghost? Not a floating bed sheet or anything like that?

[Sounds a little skeptical.]

Yeah. I haven't seen it, but my room is on the fifth floor and I heard it outside my window.

[Lloyd, on the other hand, is completely serious and believes every word he's said.]

[Poor kid.]

You sure you weren't dreaming or imagining that?

No way. It's the same thing I heard the other night when I was out on the street, and I swear I wasn't sleepwalking. Someone or something was out here shouting "Where's my head?!"

I suppose the possibility's not totally gone in this place, but there've just been people's bedsheets floating around lately. Besides, what could a ghost do other than try to scare people, anyway?

It's not just this place. I know ghosts are real. I've fought them in my world before.

[He hears that last part and blinks. You know, now that he thinks about it...]

...they do sort of look like bedsheets. At least the normal ones do. People have seen those here, too?

Fought them?

[that gives her a moment of pause, but then she shakes her head]

I have, at least. It woke me up... Troublesome.

Yeah. When I was traveling in my world, and in the world connected to it, ghosts and monsters would sometimes attack my and my friends. It's hard to fight them if you don't have magic, but sometimes you can still scare them off.

[Lloyd's eyes widen when he ears what she says.]

One woke you up? It was in the room with you? Are you all right?

It depends on your definition of 'ghost'.

Yeah, I guess so.

[Lloyd rubs the back of his neck.]

I'm not sure if it's one of the regular ones, or the ones you hear about in... [That nervousness enters his voice again.] In stories.

I seem to have encountered a few of them this past week. In fact, there's one of the bedsheet variety right next to me now.

[He switches on the video feed to show one of the bedsheet ghosts waving at the Dreamberry.]

[Lloyd blinks and bends a little closer to his Dreamberry to get a better look.]

Huh. That sorta looks like one of the normal ones from my world, but...

[He stares, nonplussed.]

It looks like a bedsheet. A real one, I mean. It's not see-through at all and... it's not attacking you.

[there are far scarier and more dangerous things to worry about other than ghosts, Lloyd.

for instance, where is that sound of galloping hooves coming from? and why does it seem to be getting louder and louder?

[Lloyd isn't very familiar with the sound of horse hooves - and maybe that only makes it even freakier. His head jerks up as he searches for the source of the sound, one hand darting for the hilt of his sword.]

Who's there?!

[no answer.

but he'll soon be seeing the black horse and its black armored knight rider appearing through the random foggy mist, heading right toward him. and in a few seconds, the moonlight will catch the metal of the sword that was out and ready.]

[Alakjdfalsk. Lloyd's breath catches in his throat, his eyes wide and panicked in the moonlight. He stumbles back a step, dropping his Dreamberry, then goes for both his swords.]

Who-who are you and what're you doing out here!

[The attempt to sound stern and intimidating fails miserably.]

Hey, you be careful.

[She pauses, and frowns.]

Where are you now?

I am, don't worry.

I'm in the First District, near-

Wh-what was that?

[She can't help but look a little alarmed--]

What? Did you see something?

[She's on her way, just so you know. She will find you.]

[Don't worry, Sheena, he won't judge. He looks alarmed enough himself.]

I- I thought I did. It was right there! Something moved and then it was gone and I heard footsteps!
