It certainly wasn't every day that one found a man sleeping on the ground in such inadequate attire. Wasn't he cold in that? Omi paused in his run of errands to stare at the snoozing figure further down the road. He'd never seen the man before, so it was possible he'd only just arrived.
The man's questions to the air after he woke seemed to confirm as much. With a small smile, Omi walked over and offered a hand of assistance in standing.
"New? It's a little disorienting, isn't it?"

"Anyway, of the three most unsettling things about this place, meeting people you know from different points in time is one of them. The other two are broadcast dreams and cards." He pulls his Dreamberry out and holds it indicatively. "Sometimes when you have a dream here, this device will record it and broadcast it to everyone else, like a mass e mail. It's pretty invasive.
"The cards can be found in random places throughout the world. Don't touch them if you can help it; they do bad things to you."
