[This weekend... there was something significant about this weekend, but what was it? As usual, Jin managed to forget the occasion, having set the thought aside in favor of more important matters. Still, upon seeing the array of various sweets, it didn't take more than a moment to recall the meeting Clovis had arranged. Right, he was going to be introduced to his older brother.

Folding his arms, Jin redirects his gaze to Clovis.]

...An impressive amount of food. Did it cost you much?

[He's looking forward to meeting his brother's Knight - but it's a sort of morbid curiosity. On one hand, he is genuinely glad that his brother has found someone who will protect him, someone he can trust to do so. On the other hand - well, it would surely be a particular type of person who would become Clovis' Knight. Matching ideals, perhaps, or something else.

He hoped to find out for himself, and so arrived at Clovis' house as they'd discussed, knocking on the door.]

I spare no expense when it comes to my older brother. He is our Prime Minister and-- [Clovis gestures about the pastries as he begins to explain -- or rather gush -- once more on all of Schneizel's accomplishments, before it seems like he has spoken of the devil. Troublesome sort of saying if he does say so himself, but he cuts himself off to head to the door.]

You'll see when you meet him. [The little blond does try to walk with relative dignity as he goes to answer the door, but there is a bit of a bounce in his step. He is happy to be able to show Schneizel more of his good decisions -- just like the ones that he made during Area 11. He hasn't really asked about them, but he feels like this will just build more on them.

Pulling the doors open, he smiles brightly up at his brother.] Welcome! Please, come in.
