Elliot appeared at the door, a book in his hand, looking a little... Haggard. Not physically, but he looked stressed to be sure. He had been working non-stop on the murder case the past few days, keeping himself well distracted.

"What?" It's a blank bark of a question."

She had worried as much. Elliot was kind and hard-working; no doubt it was all very stressful for him. Even if it wasn't her business perhaps, she still worried. It had been long enough that she doesn't feel so bad asking now; even a little hopeful. Ada hoped that it might relieve some of the stress, rather then potentially add to it.

"I want to start my training. Can we?" It's not like she wants to push it, though the idea is a bit exciting to her.

That... Wasn't what he was expecting. He had pretty much forgotten about her request. Now he remembered, but so much had happened that it had been swept away out of his memory for a while.

"Oh, uh... Right." He took a moment to ponder, wondering whether Ada was serious about learning, but she did punch him for it. The problem was he hadn't prepared for it, and so he hadn't gotten something necessary for the lessons. "Do you even have a sword?"
