[Drinking alcohol was never really an activity Jin partook of, but he'd heard it was good for forgetting things, including most of the people he'd met here in Somarium. It seemed people never changed from world to world, as unfortunate as that was. This man, however, didn't seem as pointlessly cheerful or optimistic as many of Somarium's citizens, so perhaps this excursion would end up being worth his time.

Walking into the building, Jin gave a quick glance around the establishment, noting the somewhat shabby decor. Oh well, the atmosphere didn't matter, that wasn't what he was here for. Walking up to the bar, he spotted the man he agreed to meet up with and sat at the stool next to him.]

...Hm. Interesting choice. Do all bars look like this?

[ The exact same reason Perry liked Jin, he wasn't like the rest, trying to make people happy with their cheerfulness, or being in the groupies, nope Jin was just flat out cold, and pretty much serious all the time. Yup Perry liked that. Hopefully he was the type whom Perry would say 'no talking' and he would start talking once they've had a few.

When Perry saw Jin enter, he held his beer up as a waving symbol. Once he sat next to him, he placed it down near his lips and drank from it. Once finished with that Perry replied. ]

Probably. Then again we are stuck on a strange planet. Whatcha expect?

[That was a valid question. What did he expect? Having never been in a bar, he wasn't quite sure what one might look like, although he had never given it much thought. But that didn't matter, what mattered was the alcohol, right? Right.]

I didn't have any expectations, but...

[He stares at the other man's beer bottle for a moment before turning his attention back to the bar's polished surface.]

No, never mind. Anyway, you're expecting me to drink, right?

[It couldn't be that bad. Hell, maybe it would even be fun. He'd seen drunk people ambling around on the streets before, and aside from their inability to walk properly, it looked like they were having a pretty good time. This would be a new experience for Jin, and hopefully a good one.]

[ He smirked a bit at that. Yes Perry could have fun with this man, it seemed as if he wasn't the drinker. But no Perry wouldn't do that. Nope. ]

If you want to. You could always pick up chicks or whatever you young people are doing now and days.
