Whoa! [He froze for an instant before rushing to her side, not yet crouching.] You okay, miss?

[One arm still around the rabbit doll, she tries to reach out for the shade again with her free hand.]

She doesn't even bother responding, instead crying out in pain again as she continues to try and reach for the shade.]

[and reaching down to help her up. probably would have to carry her...]

[She shakes her head, feebly trying to point in the direction of the shade again.]

[She doesn't answer, instead weakly pointing towards the shade again, hoping that'll speak for her.]

[A shaky nod, as a look of relief spreads across her face.]

... Yes, I'll be fine. Thank you.

[Sherlock would help, but not because he was a good person. In fact, he was helping her because he was interested in what was happening. But he can't know if she dies, can he?

Is that smoke? Interesting. How come? He'd have to focus on that later when she's not turning into smoke. It seemed that she was trying to reach a place in the shade.]

I'll help you. You want to go to the shade, don't you?

[And he extends his hand, still observing the smoke and listing various reasons in his head as to why it could happen.]

[She nods weakly, thankful she doesn't have to explain, as she manages to grasp his hand.]

[He looks back at the girl in question. Young, probably around ten. A strange hair color, possibly the cause of a mutation...or for some reason she painted it.

He takes her to the direction where she was going, and once they were in the shade he let her go. But he didn't.

Spontaneous combustion. He's heard of it, but it has always been something that lacked the information necessary. Maybe the girl was set on fir- no, there would have been flames. Maybe acid. He knew from experience a number of corrosive acids that evaporated at room temperature.

Or maybe it would just be a simple sun allergy. He had to look at her carefully.]

[Once he puts her down, she shrinks away, holding her rabbit doll to her chest. She's thankful for his help, yes, but wary now as he saw what happened. Survival is the most important thing, of course-but keeping her secret still comes fairly close.]

... Maybe.

[Though if he looks closely, there do appear to be faint burns on her body.]

[WOAH, WHAT'S GOING ON. Why is that girl smoking??

Here have +1 Sun Goddess come over and with no difficult at all she's picking the girl up and putting her onto her own back. And then moving quickly into the direction she was heading to, the shaded alleyway.]

Once she enters the shade, she lets out a sigh of relief, seeing as how she's not, uh, dying anymore.]

[Only doing what she does best! Gently she sets the girl down once she's in the shade, and the sigh of relief is more than a sign that this was indeed a good action.

Relieved, she now begins to look her over. Was she alright now? All the same, she sits down at her side and awaits for her to recover.]

[She holds her rabbit doll to her chest, glancing around, before looking back at Amaterasu.

... Brain trying to comprehend this-]
