As he rummaged through boxes and double-checked textbooks, Muraki realized that he didn't yet know his new patient's name. That was a simply thing to fix, but it proved that part of him had fallen out of the constantly clinical and information driven mindset he liked to be in at home. Names meant things to research and ways to take advantage of people. Maybe running this clinic would help him get that pattern going in his mind once again.
Assuming this man stayed in Somarium for some time, it would be possible to cure him. Muraki's crash course in tuberculosis treatment told him that it was two antibiotic cocktails over six months. Drug resistance wouldn't be an issue since he seemed to come from a time before the medications existed. The hardest part would likely be making sure he took it as directed.
For now, he eyed the bottles of antibiotics he'd purchased and waited.
