[ Now when your an old lady such as Juri, you can easily maintain a calm and cool face while reading others. This person was looking around, so he was either looking for someone, something, or was lost.
The thought of him being a new arrival was high, but Juri wasn't going to guess. At least not now. But then again, she badly wanted to know, and help. So the five foot five inch pureblood made her way towards Barnaby and smiled. ]
‘No’ was his immediate answer, the one he wanted to give. Because he sure as hell didn’t want to be lost, especially not with so much at stake. He looked down at the woman, giving a small smile. It didn’t manage to hide his unease completely, but it was well-composed.]
I think I am.
[Privately, he was suspicious. Was she the NEXT responsible for this? Or was this some kind of trap. But he needed information, and hostility wouldn’t get him any.
The first question that rose to his mind was, ‘Could you tell me how to get back to Sternbild?’ But that seemed like a stupid question. Directions weren’t going to help him get home.]
[ Juri began to explain. It wasn´t going to be easy to truly understand, but if he did, then hopefully his stress would go away. ]
Your in a place called Somarium, your in the Buisness District right now. This place is a dream world, it takes you in and won´t let you leave when you want to.
[It all sounded ridiculous. A dream world, that wouldn't let him leave, but there was no way that he was sleeping. He did wonder, for a second - had he dozed off, without noticing?
The confusion showed upon his face in his frustration.]
[Kotetsu had just been wandering around, taking in his surroundings and figuring out just what he should do now that's he's stuck for an indefinite amount of time. He's not exactly the happiest right now, since news like that could crush even the most optimistic soul. Or at least, it should.
But when he sees that familiar face turn the corner, you better believe that that goofy grin of his is going to be plastered all over his face. Bunny's presence here has been the first shred of good news since his arrival, since Ivan didn't exactly show up in the best state of his life.
It was one bad thing after another, but seeing his partner just broke that mould.]
Oi, Bunny! [A friendly shout, before he's sprinting up to him. His arm waves excitedly over his head in greeting, the other secures his hat in place.] Took you long enough to show up!
[For all the other hero is right in front of him, it takes Barnaby a moment to see him there, focused on his surroundings as he is. His eyes fall on that terribly familiar face just as Tiger gives that terribly familiar. And it is Tiger. He’s not wearing the mask which is apparently magical, but it’s Tiger.
There’s a brief flicker of relief somewhere in his chest, strong enough to make him stop in his tracks. It’s a familiar face, finally - now he can start figuring things out.
But the respite is there and gone, kicked aside by what Barnaby considers to be good sense. Of all the familiar faces, it just had to be him, didn’t it? And Tiger is smiling like an idiot, like he always does, beaming at him and it just makes Barnaby feel all the more agitated.
Of course he knew what an idiot the man was. But he’d thought that he’d at least recognised the gravity of the situation. The dire importance. How could he look like that, when Sternbild was being held hostageHe barely even hears a word Tiger says, otherwise he might consider it
( ... )
[Well, that was certainly unexpected. It had been a while since Barnaby had treated him like that, or even said anything like that for that matter. Things were going so well before he woke up here... why the sudden change? It was a little disheartening, and as his partner walks away he can only stare, mouth agape and head tilted in confusion.
He isn't about to let things end on that note, though.]
Hey, wait a second! [He quickly catches up, and is once again hovering over his partner.] Are you all right, Bunny?
[All of this was starting to piece together in his mind. Ivan asking about Jake and those oh so familiar injuries he arrived with. And Bunny's attitude toward him was reminiscent of that time when he...]
[He staunchly ignored the 'are you alright', preferring instead to continue putting distance between them. Wild Tiger had proven that he would only hold him back - on a very, very grand scale this time. Besides, the longer he stands there listening to him the more likely he is to do something stupid, and that'd surely earn him a disciplinary.
That was, if Sternbild didn't come crashing down around their ears.
That is, if he can get back to Sternbild. And for all he wouldn't leave the other hero here, he sure as hell has no intent of letting him ruin things again. Why can't you trust me?
But his composure was neatly snapped at Tiger's next question. He froze where he stood, head lowering, shoulders drawn tight together.
(There was a genuinely logical part of his mind, aside from his anger, that realized then that this wasn't right. Tiger had thrown their partnership in his face, but he'd known about it, and this was a far cry from him running up to try and apologize. Unless this was some bizarre, stupid way of dealing with it.

[Following his own arrival mere days ago, Ivan wasn't exactly in the best shape of his life, and as such probably shouldn't have been out wandering the streets of Somni. Despite the fact, that's what the young Hero was currently doing, bandages and all -- because it was a Hero's duty to protect the city, injured or not. It wasn't Sternbild, but he had quickly accepted that he would be stuck in Somarium for quite some time, possibly indefinitely -- and as such, it was his duty as one of only two Heroes around to protect the people of the city as best he could (even if his power wasn't the most useful in defending others
( ... )
[The sound of his name being called out immediately seizes his attention, and Barnaby looks over, expecting - well, he doesn’t know what to expect, but it definitely isn’t Origami Cyclone, battered and bruised and by no means in the hospital bed Barnaby left him in.
So instead of his usual quick-witted response to surprises, he’s left gawking for a moment, eyes wide in disbelief and confusion ]
Origami -
[He moves, quickly closes the distance between them to put a hand on the other hero’s arm. He doesn’t seem to need holding up, but when Barnaby last saw him - what Jake Martinez had done - there was no way that he could suddenly be okay.]
You should be in hospital. [He looks around them once more, urgently.] --Where did…
[Of course, he should've anticipated such a reaction, based on the way Kotetsu had fretted over him upon his initial arrival. If he was being honest, he still had absolutely no idea how he -- or either of the other Heroes -- had arrived here.
His train of thought is broken when Barnaby moves and places a hand on his arm, as if to support him. Of course, he's still not anywhere close to feeling 100%, but he's in a much better condition than the one he arrived in. As such, he's a bit shocked at the urgency in the older man's tone and actions, since the worst of his injuries have now faded at least slightly.]
Ah, but, Barnaby-san... [He gives a small shake of his head.] I'm fine now, I promise.
[When his fellow Hero asks him where he came from, however, he gives a quizzical look. Shouldn't it have been fairly obvious?]
Jake Martinez's hideout. It's the last thing I remember before waking up here.
[Which was something he honestly hadn't expected to do at all once he was discovered.]
[He doesn't remember? Being forced to take on Jake's form - damn you damn you damn you, old man - and then being rescued, being taken to hospital? Ivan had been close to death, and here he was, looking worse for wear but... still alive and well.]
We found you in the hideout. [He'd been so badly injured, Barnaby isn't terribly surprised that he can't recall anything that came after.] We took you to the hospital.
[Hours ago, no less, and yet here they were.]
Where did you come from, here? Wherever here might be, this isn't safe. You're hurt.
[Sealand was annoying people playing around the business district when he saw a man wandering around the district like he didn't know where he was. He began to wonder if this was another new person or not.]
Hey Mister with poofy hair! Are you lost or something?
[WOW RUDE LEAVE HIS FARAH FAWCETT LOCKS ALONE Astute observation about his hair aside, he looks down. For a fleeting moment, his eyes widen. They’ve taken children, too? Not only that, but the child seems pretty content with things, too - that suggests that he’s been here a while.]
I’m just finding my way around. [And then, just in case:] Are you… alright?
