[John is never where Vriska wants him to be, clearly, as he's flying over head looking around when he spots the familiar orange uniform. His first reaction is excitement because it's Vriska and he hasn't really seen her in person since he first got there.

He's all smiles when he lands until he sees her holding her arm.]

How is she supposed to even hide this? She looks from her arm to John and then back to her arm again before straightening up and grinning smoothly.]

Oh this? Yeah! Tooooooootally fine. Yeup!

[He doesn't look at all convinced by that, because that definitely looks like a wound and that's definitely blood all over her arm.]

That... looks really bad, though!
