[...oookay. he had no idea what was going on, but it looked like the girl was feeling a little better.]
...Yeah, sure.
Hm...you'll need to know about the Dreamberry, I guess. Looks like a cell phone...if you know what a cell phone is. [he pulls his out from his pocket and holds it up to show her.]

[Jennifer is very dependent on her doggy.]
Dreamberry...do you mean this? [She shows him her own Dreamberry with a troubled look] I-it looked important, so I didn't want to just leave it on the sidewalk...but it's nothing of mine. I haven't the slightest idea what it is.
I feel accomplished B|redroseprinceJuly 14 2011, 18:32:32 UTC
Call and...oh! You mean like a telephone.
[She glances back down at it with a troubled look. It didn't look like any sort of telephone she's ever seen. How on earth were you supposed to use something so small?]
DAMN IT I HATE SMALL TAGS.redroseprinceJuly 14 2011, 22:53:34 UTC
[Don't mind her as she draws back a little, it's a bit instinctual at this point in time. :(]
I...I see. [Sort of. Technology gap, baww. It'll take a while.] Thank you for showing me. I would have never guessed it to be like a telephone. And it can do so much more than ours...
[There is some part of her that still doesn't quite believe this.]
I saw it right as I hit post sobredroseprinceJuly 15 2011, 00:03:38 UTC
[You see that? It's the sight of all the color draining out of Jennifer's face.]
D-dreams. [Oh, Jennifer has never been one for good dreams. She shouldn't believe such a ridiculous notion, but she does and oh god, what if it happens to her? What will she dream about now, now that her memories are chained together and promised with protection?]
[Don't feel bad, man. :( It's just scary news. But Jennifer can totally feel that awkwardness and promptly feels bad about it. He was just trying to help, after all, and here she was freaking out.]
I'm so sorry. You're being very kind, and I'm truly grateful to you. I just...this is just so sudden.
...I-I'm not very sure what to do. [Somewhere along the lines she just brings her hands to her face. Not crying, so there's that much, but just covering it.] I-I mean...what am I supposed to do? I...I've nowhere to go here.
[:( She just wanted to go home. She feels like it's been so long.]
...except there wasn't anyone else around him really so he's kind of looking at her quizzically. plus well. she was kind of reaching toward him.]
...? Yeah?

[looks at her and steps just a little closer and leans in just a little bit so he can at least show her.]

[and quick, simple, tutorial.]

..Do they...show dreams often?

S'only showed my dream once so far. Been here for almost a year.

...I see. That....that might be fine, then.
[The last part, though, causes some dismay to ripple across her face once again.]
A year...? [A year. What is she going to do here for a year?]

Aaah, maybe not. [man he sucks.] Some people leave earlier...

...Sorry, I'm...not really good at this kind of thing. Someone else might be better for this...
[awkward but he feels bad.]
...I can help you find someplace if you want.
