"How to make a proper field kit for up to three weeks out of a base-camp, how to stop a wound from bleeding all over the place without materia, how to sleep alone out in the field without exposing yourself to an enemy, how to---"
And with that final word, Zack has leaned just a little too far back and he tumbles from the picnic bench with a yelp and a distinct thud. One thing that didn't really stick from Angeal's talks? How to not fall off his butt when sitting down.

"Nah, I'm okay." And he was; it would take more than that to hurt Zack's thick skull, so the only damage was to his ego as he sat back down, running a hand through his hair to get the leaves out. The sheepish look was one Angeal was probably used to, at any rate.

"Yeah, I did. Long time before we met." He'd been around...oh, ten years old or so, the first time. And, as with everything else Zack Fair did, it stuck and stuck hard.
"There was a reason I was crappy when you tried to teach me balance, just so you know. Didn't have any even when I was a kid."

"And one of these days I will. Maybe if you check in at the house sometime." Was it his way of trying to get Angeal to let them know he hadn't poofed? Yeah, it was. No one could say Zack Fair was a subtle kind of guy.

"Never said we'd talk there, man. The city's pretty big, so we can just go for a walk and talk or something."
And, truthfully...he hadn't had many negative impressions of people during his stay so far. Genesis...well, that one was just a mess no matter where he was.

Wool-gathering, Genesis?

There's much to be done, yet.
