It was hard work, cleaning up the library after the big flood. But thankfully everyone had made it through the storm, now it was just a matter of getting everything organized again. And if there was one thing Twilight Sparkle loved and adored, it

Twilight paused in her book-moving, blinking but then breaking into a smile of recognition.

"Hi, Angeal!" She finished setting the volumes under the lamp to dry and trotted over to the big man.

"Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it. Um...you can put those over...there, that'll be good. They're part of the Reference section. I've been trying to keep them sorted, but I'm running out of clean floor space."

She nodded. "Very busy. There's just so much to do!" A soft sigh, but then the unicorn stamped a hoof and her little face set in a determined expression.

"But we'll get it done. Hopefully before the next catastrophe." She flashed a smile and went after another overturned pile of books.

Aj comes in dragging her hooves, exhaustion obvious on her snout, her mane disarrayed and her eyes as droopy as her gallop. She seemed to perk slightly when she saw that Twilight's library had taken a toll all on it's own.

"Howdy Twilight, awful sorry t' see your library all torn up. I'll help ya fer a bit if ya need?" She'd actually come to ask for help with her barn. But that would be just plain rude.

"Applejack!" Twilight hurried over and gave her friend a pony-hug. "I'm so glad to see you. Are you and Applebloom all right?"

She'd been so worried about her friends during that awful flood, but getting things back in order had been first and foremost, because they'd need a safe place before anything else.

The pony-hug is greatly appreciated, and needed. "That goes for you too, Sugar. We're jus' fine an' dandy...can't say the same for our barn though."

Applejack of course was concerned for her friends, but there was only so much she could do. She tried to salvage what she could from the barn and make sure her sister was safe.

"Oh, no, your barn?" Twilight's face fell. "Where are you guys staying? When we get things set up here, you can stay with Fluttershy and me while we fix your barn."

She smiled gently. "We'll have it ship-shape in no time if we all work together."

Applebloom was quick to hurry to Twilight's aid when she heard it was needed, showing up with a determined and ready look all over her little pony face. "Sorry if I'm late, Twilight! I'll get this place cleaned up quick as a lick!"

"Hey, Applebloom! I was just asking Applejack about you guys." Twilight trots over for a friendly hug. "She's helping out upstairs at the moment. Glad to see you're all right after that awful storm."

She led the way through the cluttered debris, saying, "Just be careful, some of this stuff's a little wobbly. Don't want to get hurt moving anything."

"Don' worry about me, Twilight, I'm totally good at avoidin' and bein' neat an' all that stuff! But I'm glad to see you're all right as rain, too."

Applebloom stepped over a few debris piles, following the unicorn as she weaved through the mess. "What d'ya want me to do? Tell me anything an' I'm on it!"

"Let's see...let's start by getting all the tables and chairs back in place, to make some room on the floor."

The unicorn magicked one of the human chairs upright and smiled at the filly. "Oh, gosh, me too. All that rain was horrible! I've never even heard of flooding like that."

Twilight turned from magically shelving a few more books and blinked to see another unfamiliar human, a girl, making her way through the clutter. The unicorn smiled politely, trotting her way over through the scattered stuff.

"Hello," Twilight replied brightly. "I'm Twilight Sparkle. Nice to meet you."

"Oh, that'd be wonderful!" Twilight exclaimed happily. She trotted further into the library, leading the human girl to yet another overturned bookcase and scattered books and papers.

"If you want, would you help me get these back on the shelf? I think I can get the bookcase back up...one second..."

Twilight closed her eyes and concentrated, her horn beginning to glow. Silvery mist gathered around the bookcase and it began to slowly rise, Twilight gritting her teeth because, gosh, that thing was heavy!

But it eventually rocked back upright and the unicorn panted a bit, shaking her head, but smiled. "There! Whew, that was a doozy!"

WHAT THE- THAT PONY IS SPEAKING AND PURPLE.

[She is just going to stalker-watch you from behind a shelf for a while.]

It seemed they never stopped finding books to put away. Twilight hummed as she sorted and categorized, finally having to venture further into the shelves to get the books in their right places.

She succinctly magicked a few volumes to a high shelf, nodding with satisfaction when they were in place.

"There! Much better."

Lambda just watches all this happen, following Twilight as she ventures further into the library.

"Spacial manipulation... scanning for presence of Ars Magus... none detected.

Cause unknown. Cannot process."

Feeling rather than hearing or seeing someone behind her, Twilight paused and glanced over her shoulder, a bit puzzled and a little bit...concerned. She had several of the bookshelves upright by now, but they were still crooked and haphazard, perfect places to hide behind.

She turned, hoof lifted in worry. "...hello?" she called, peering at the high shelves intently. "Is someone there?"
