Natsu yawned, blinked, and stared around to find that somehow overnight, the field he'd been sleeping in had erupted in hundreds of bright orange pumpkins. This didn't entirely surprise him- he was used to magic, of course -but the forms it took in this world were... weird.
Sitting up, he poked one, scrutinizing it intently. "I wonder if they're edible..."
Kitchel noticed the blonde boy walking animatedly through the pumpkin patch and paused in her path, her attention caught. With a shrug she decided she had nothing better to do and she hopped the fence bordering the garden, going over to where he was currently bending over to scrutinize a small orange pumpkin.
"Whatcha doing?" She knelt next to him to have a look as well.
Tamaki blinked as he heard the new voice and upon looking up and seeing it to be a fair maiden, he straightened and gave her a charming, though still cheerful, smile.
"I'm just looking at all these pumpkins to decide which would be best to use for decorating the café, as well as perhaps to put around the village to help bring in the Halloween spirit."
"Hollow-in?" She was confused, never having heard of either of those. Decorating, she could understand. But this 'Halloween Spirit' sounded decidedly ghostly. Hollow... In... Spirit... Okay, maybe it was just her, but it certainly did not sound like a god-sort-of-spirit. More like a dead-thing-gonna-eat-you-spirit.
Simon, still lost trying to find his Aniki, noticed a young blond man excitedly looking about... standing alone... in the middle of a field.
What is he doing? He's just standing out there. And by himself, too... Simon decided Kamina could wait a little bit longer and figured he'd go see what the young man was doing. Obviously, something was going on.
Simon looked around and, sure enough, there were orange gourds all over the ground. He wondered if those were pumpkins. He wondered why they were going to be picked, though. Unless somebody really liked eating those things.
"Why yes. They are just perfect for Halloween decoration!" Tamaki said with a flourish, spinning on his heel a bit as he placed his index finger against his chin, a triumphant look on his face. "And also to make some pumpkin pie. Oooh and I hear the seeds are good when roasted, as well. How practical commoners are!"
Hearing his voice, Tamak looked up and waved, cheerful as always. "Dr. Stiles! Isn't this wonderful! This will be perfect for Halloween, wouldn't you agree?"
It was always refreshing to see so many people around, and he certainly couldn't wait to share this event with everyone. Ah...how it will help everyone come together!
Derek couldn't help but smile and laugh, rubbing the back of his head. It isn't the weirdest thing that had happened as of late--if anything--it was rather nice to see something normal in such a very abnormal world. "I'd have to say so," he replied to Tamaki with a grin.

"Hello there!" he waved cheerfully. "Out to pick some pumpkins, too?"
