[he's staring at the broken teleporter-one of the main reasons why he wanted to come here.

he was glancing from a picture he had taken with his Dreamberry to the large, broken device on the ground.]

...There's no mistaking it. It looks similar to the one found in the ruins.

[and it didn't look too dissimilar from those found by the lake, either.]

[s'up, we are here too, along with his Zebstrika again who is lit with the large amount of electricity he has gathered within his body. He seems to be standing off to the side though, letting the two boys get to their investigating.

Touya raises a hand, tilting the cap atop his head with a curious glance to the transportation device.] So the ones by the lake, they still work?

Why are the ones here and in the ruins broken down? Where could they have led..?

The ones at the lake have a different design; but yes, they still work. However, they only serve as transportation to the floating mountain.

[now bending down to take a closer look at the broken teleporter.]

From the records, I am assuming this is the one they used to escape from the noctaere invasion. [he still wasn't sure what that meant, but he would look into it later. regardless, he was still frowning.]

If this is the case, then there's only reason why they would be broken. [he looks up at Touya.] They did not want to be followed.

The.. noctaere invasion? [He could tell that much probably wasn't known about it, but he couldn't help but repeat it.]

.. So I was right, wherever this leads to, they didn't want anyone to be able to go too. [He takes one look around, upwards before back to the teleporter.] But the other one, in the ruins..

[Gwendolen had been meaning to explore these tunnels for a while but had only now gotten around to it. Who new what interestoing things she would find, hopefully something to be of use to her witchcraft and to her goals. She roamed around, a small ball of light brought forth from her hand showing the way]

[at first Kid froze when he felt the witch's soul wavelength. he hadn't felt one in Somarium in a while, and given the fact that he knew that most of the witch and wizard populace were nothing like the ones back home, his reaction was still instinctive.

but after a moment of taking a breath and resorting his thoughts, he turned to face the witch in question. she seemed rather young, but that didn't surprise him either.]

There are probably a few others around as well. Are you investigating the tunnels as well?
