Phase: ¾ Waning. Nights are surprisingly clear, making it great for stargazing.

Weather: Snowfall will start late Monday evening and continue on throughout the week. Weather will remain freezing with no signs of letting up and most days are cloudy/overcast.

Effects: Dreams tend to take on a white or light blue colour, or any other colour one would associate with snow. As well, dreams, themselves, may tend to be snow-themed. Trying to dream about warm places doesn’t exactly work well since the cold seems to have a way of creeping in still.

Notes: Here’s what’s on tap for this week:

• AC Check Results. Keep an eye out for them. They'll be up after the end of the AC check.
  
  
• Applications. Applications will be open soon! Remember we've changed our cycle, so now applications end on the 7th of each month and open on the 1st.
  
  
• Blizzard. As noted by the sudden drop in temperatures and appearance of snow, Somarium seems to be experiencing an unseasonably early blizzard this year. The sudden appearance of it and the near-constant snowfall has caught the natives off-guard, creating a bit of a problem situation.
  
  
• Warm Clothes. Or, more likely, a lack there-of. Characters are free to notice that clothing stores around Somarium seem to have a lack of appropriate clothes/coats/etc to combat the cold weather and snow. Storekeepers will say that they’re doing the best they can to get some in stock, quickly, but it won’t be until the middle of the week that any decent amount starts to become available. Should a character have extra, they may wish to be considerate to their friends and share what they can until then. Try and stay bundled up.
  
  
• Illness. Characters are free to notice that the natives are starting to come down with what appears to be a cold due to being ill-prepared. Characters, themselves, are also free to start coming down with colds due to the unseasonably cold weather. But be warned, the NPC citizens will be having first dibs on cold medicine from the stores so there may be a bit of a shortage at first.
  
  
• Power Fluctuations. While it may not be quite evident yet, something strange seems to be happening with the power that’s not exactly blizzard related. The cold weather will be causing lines to freeze and fall, yes, but there’s still something more behind it. Good dreams seem to have a more positive effect, causing the power to be steadier while negative dreams/nightmares seem to cause the power to flicker more often.
