Legend:

Effects: No overpowering dream effects this time. But even so, the dreamberry will give off a soft gray light. Any happy dreams will give a soft light blue light. Bad dreams or nightmares will be black. As usual, these lights will disappear as if they are heading in some kind of direction.

Notes:
  • Repair Progress. It looks like the NPCs learned some new tricks from the last time they had to repair Somarium. By the end of the phase-week: the village Espoir will have been fully cleaned up and most homes repaired and even renovated; The Residential District will be 60% complete; the Government District will be 50% complete; and the other districts are at around 25%. All apartments and other buildings have been cleared to live in again, though there's still a lot of heavy clean-up to do. Characters who live in the village, Government, or Residential District should be able to return to their homes if they so desire.

  • Increased NPC presence. If anyone is wondering how those NPCs were able to clean up and repair so fast, characters will notice an increase in the NPC number starting today. Where they came from is hard to say, but they look different from the normal NPCs everyone has probably grown accustomed to. These new NPCs will look wary and even suspicious toward all foreign residents (ie, your characters) and may even mutter an offhand remark on how they "don't belong" or "get in the way". Some may even comment that the characters are the reason "bad things keep happening." If questioned, they will just turn away and ignore completely. Most of these NPCs are the ones working on cleaning and rebuilding everything, and its obvious they are used to this work.

Most of the already established NPC pool will be their usual nicer self, reassuring everyone that whatever "those others" say is untrue. At least the older NPCs still like their "guests" and are more than willing to do what they can. However, characters may notice that whenever the older NPCs are around these newer ones, they look uneasy. Some may be either puzzled or confused. But if questioned, they somehow skirt on the topic and say it's nothing to worry about. If any characters ask the older NPCs about the new NPCs, they'll only say one or more of the following:
    • "They're not really bad guys, just strict. They always have and always will be."
    • "Don't mind them, really! They're just doing their job."
    • "Where they came from? Ah...I don't know. They've always been like this. Would you like something to drink instead?"
    • "I wouldn't bother them if I were you. They're not like us-we can't really fight well but they can. But you didn't hear that from me!" (any NPC who says this will instantly walk away and cannot be questioned further)
    • "Hm...I wonder if I should bake some more cakes... So many were ruined by the rain..."
    • "Ugh, I hate these guys. They think they're all that but I think they just have a you know what stuck up their you know where."
    • "Just keep dreaming happy things!"
Other similar lines may also be said, but this should give everyone an idea on what the general NPC population thinks of their new neighbors. Feel free to choose any of the above if your character does investigative work.

  • That whirlpool. The whirlpool from the last cycle is still there, and seems to be moving even faster than before. Otherwise, there isn't much to note about it...for now, anyway.

  • Nycteren. From the last cycle, these monsters are still prowling about, and there's a slight increase in their number. They're still aggressive, but only come out during the late hours of the night. As usual, encountering these creatures is optional.
