Hey guys! Lau here, bringing a grand proposition for you all!
Flynn's hands are itching for things to snatch and I thought "Why not practice on the unassuming citizens of Somarium?" He'll need some victims so... would anybody like to volunteer?
[STATUS] thread
here! Still open for takers, though it'll be moving a bit slowly since people will be plotting for that AU event. :)
FAQ:
→ I'd like the threads to be simple and light. They'll be in first person and the basic premise is that Flynn is trying to take something from his target (i.e. your character). Flynn and his target can chat a little before, during, or after the steal, but the point is that he has to actually take the object by the end of the thread. Which is why....
→ the stolen objects don't have to anything overtly valuable. Small things like handkerchiefs, keys, or even food will do. He's just doing this for practice and I would appreciate it very much if he could take these things without his victims finding out. However...
→ thieves and people who are highly intuitive may have the option of catching Flynn in the act. But if we could stick to them merely being suspicious of Flynn then that would be great. After all...
→ I am totally open for plotting beyond this incident. This was actually kind of the point for this. It can be just a random encounter with one of your friendly neighborhood thieves, but if you want more CR with Flynn, why not? Let's plot! You can find me over at plurk (dehdwood) or AIM (stormsthatcastle).
Format is as follows:
Character offered: character name here
Item/s to be stolen: item here
Questions?
Where? I'm thinking Somni for the location but this can easily change to some other well-populated part of Somarium. Flynn will basically be just wandering around the area for targets anyway.
When? Putting up the thread by April 15. It's up and running!
Will the items be returned after they are stolen? as stated
here, if the stolen item holds some sentimental value for the victim, I don't see why we can't work something out about Flynn returning it. :)
So, any takers?
