The Waiting Game

 Hello all,

As promised, I mentioned I would explain today, now my head is clearer about the situation that's going on in my family at the moment. For those who are friends with me in real life, the reason I haven't really told anyone about it is because of the simple question is I find it difficult to talk about - and I don't have the energy to do ( Read more... )

I'm truly sorry to hear about your nan, she is a singular woman and from the times I have met her I can tell she is a tough cookie. I know everyone is telling you that she's fine and everything will be fine so I don't want to repeat things to you, you've said it's hard to accept. But I will say that she's a strong person, as are you, and if the results come back negative then that'll be wonderful news, but even if they come back positive she won't go down without a fight. Whatever happens know that you have people around you who will be there for you if you need it <3

That's absolutely terrible news. I really hope it's good news next week, and even if it's not there's so much they can do now. I'm not religious but I'll be sending lots of good thoughts to you and your nan. It's a horrible illness and it just seems to drain everyone involved from the constant waiting. It's good to know Jamie is there for you!

Oh, sweetie. So sorry to hear about your nan! I know you're going to worry anyway, but it sounds like your nan is a strong woman and if she's anything like you, I don't think she'll let it get her down. If it gives you any amount of hope, my nan was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was eleven and she had a mastectomy, but is still as feisty as ever today.

Sending lots of hugs and prayers your way. ♥

I'm so sorry for that sad news soph. I agree with what lucy said, She is a strong woman from the times I have met her and I hope you find some comfort in thinking that. If you ever what to escape and just sit and be surrounded by noise (that sometimes helps me when I need to stop thinking) you are welcome to come round ours whenever you want - morning noon or night! (But we may not be awake until at least noon...) I send my love to you and your nan and wish for the best. x

i know telling you not to worry is ridiculous, because you are going to worry no matter what. Just know you have people on both sides of the pond, thinking about you and sending good thoughts! Hope all will be well. Call your Nan, you'll both feel better!
