For once Jaina had woken up a little late, and then it was an incoming call from her comlink that woke her. It was probably sad that she'd automatically reached for both it and her phone to take them outside so as not to disturb anyone, but considering it'd been kind of a long call, it was probably a good move on her part

"You look like you need coffee," Rose commented as she sat down on the steps by Jaina. "Or doughnuts."

Jaina opened her eyes, looking over at her. "Got either of those?"

What she really needed was a therapist, not-boyfriend cuddles and to get out of Fandom. But she could settle.

Rose handed over the bag of fried dough she'd picked up after her run. "Give me five minutes and I'll make some coffee for you."

"You're wonderful. Have I said that lately?" Jaina said gratefully, taking the bag.
