The knock at the door had John hopping to pull it open before it annoyed any potential neighbors. "Hey," he said, looking a little tired and extra hairy...and maybe worried.

She was smiling as soon as she saw him, hairy or not. She couldn't help it, it was part of that twitterpation thing, even if she was wondering what had happened that he'd let it grow past scruff. "New look?" she asked, already reaching a hand up toward his cheek.

"Gave up on shaving for an hour there," John admitted, going for her other hand to pull her inside.
