There were always great things about date night. It was summer again out here, which was a still a little strange when it was just barely fall in Fandom, but it meant time in the pool with a hot shirtless boyfriend, so Jaina wasn't complaining. It also meant a trip to the pool hall (see what they did there?) so she could show off the mad skills

The challenger racked up the balls and glanced back at her with a sneaky smirk. "Do we even need to play for something?"

"Yes, because I'm going to win whatever it is," she grinned, going to choose a cue stick.

"In that case," he said, rolling his eyes and flipping the rack in the air and catching it. "Winner sings karaoke."

Jaina stared at him, and not because of the trick even if it was cool. "You've gotten mean if your old age," she replied. She was joking. Unless she actually won.
